まだ無名ながら口コミで広がり驚異的な売上を記録した。
５年ぶりとなる待望の2ndアルバム「Laideronnette」は
荘厳なストリングスと柔らかなピアノ、無機質ながらも有機的なリズムが鳴り、
憂いを帯びた唄、綿密に配置されたノイズが響く。
音像、メロディー、世界観、そのすべては深化し、
これまでの闇と新たに差し込んだ光が共鳴する。
ラヴェルの組曲マ・メール・ロワ「パゴダの女王レドロネット」から
「世界一醜い女王の名」を命名したアルバム「Laideronnette」が鳴らされる時
見た事のない美しき深淵の世界が現れる。
Matryoshka's debut album "zatracenie" was released in 2007 and made incredible high sales only by word of mouth despite they were unknown at that time.
On 12th Dec, 2012, they release long-awaited 2nd album"Laiderinnette",the first new material in 5 years.
The album is filled with magnificent strings and soft piano sounds ,these are creating inorganic but organic rhythms beats and also resonate with somber voice and carefully composed noise. Their sound image, melody and vision of the world,all of them are deepen and make their darkness sympathize with brand new slanted lights.

何を言っても陳腐になるけど、このpvを最初見た時は涙が止まらなかった。どこまでも悲壮に満ちながら、確かな優しさがこの曲にはある気がする。
私はこれを聞いて、これまでの人生を書き換えられてしまった。
1:27みたいに寝る時ってベッドに落ちていく、吸い込まれていく感覚になる…｢あ、今から眠りに入るんだな｣ってわかる感じ…

Makes me think of a person who has Astral Projected into another realm and finds peace in her own way. Everyone has their own meaning of what peace means and I think that this video is really touching and makes us remember not to forget this peace.

Latimer Ferrel The way I interpreted it was that the little girl isn't happy with her life (most likely because she is sick) and so every night she retreats to her dreams which she finds much more pleasant than real life. Specifically the lines

I just lie down and tremble
make me believe that she is using her dreams as a way of coping with the real world. In the dream world she has some sort of companion, whether he is supposed to be a friend from her past, or some sort of 'angel', or even just a figment of her imagination isn't really clear. At the end of the video she finally dies (from being sick like mentioned before it seems), and they are carrying her to her grave. They lie her in the ground in her coffin and she is still fully aware of what is happening. The screen gets gradually darker as they cover the coffin with dirt and she re-awakens in her dream world. The life that she had considered a Monotonous Purgatory (waking up, being in pain/sick/feeble all day, going back to sleep and repeating) has finally been broken. At the end of the video you see her walking back to her companion, this time to stay for good.
*All that being said, I could be totally wrong. I don't have any concrete proof and that was only my interpretation.*

To me it looks like: people bury (regect) their childhood dreams, or true purpose in life, just to live them as they fall asleep, in their imagination, and they cant get anywhere in life because of it, being doomed to live in their dreams, and dream in their lives.
