No, just no. Every generation has its bad apples; and even good apples that go through a bad phase (usually late teens/early twenties). My boomer father was hands down one of the hardest working people I know and even he had trouble holding down a job in his early years. He was fired from many jobs for showing up intoxicated or hungover. Even the job he ended up retiring from after 35 years of dedicated service to the company. They gave him a second chance because he proved he had matured. All generations have these little blips, it’s called immaturity.
@Scottyv12 yeah because older people never do that 😂😂😂 you never seen the countless bodycam vids of the older generations driving drunk? Even with like 8 duis
It's funny. People who can only function while high and get frustrated and anxious when they're not high think it's because the weed is leveling them. The truth is they're dependant on it and they're having withdrawal symptoms when they stop.
"The truth is" That is factually innaccurate. Marijuana has no physical withdrawal symptoms, there are multiple studies u can look up if u don't believe a random guy on yt. U are not going to get dope sick from not smoking. People who act frustrated and anxious when they are not high, likely suffer from anxiety, ADHD, or any number of the possible mental disorders that marijuana is literally used to treat. That's like saying if someone with bipolar disorder misses a pill, they'll start having a episode due to withdrawl from the medicine. When no, they have an episode because the chemicals in their brain are all out of whack and the entire point of the medicine is to bring them to normal.
@@verakoo6187 Hi there! Cannabis absolutely does have physical withdrawal symptoms. Plenty of studies and clinical trials on the national library of medicine have backed it up. It's even acknowledged in the DSM-5. Not trying to demonize cannabis, I'll be the first one to go on about how much I love it. Withdrawals are mere child's play compared to alcohol, opiates, and benzos, obviously. But it for sure exists. Chills, sweating, nausea, and headaches are what you'd typically see. They're far less common and you have to be a heavy heavy smoker to meet the threshold in which you start getting withdrawal symptoms. Anecdotally, I have experienced physical withdrawals after years of daily use, because I had to quit for a drug test.
Self medicating marijuana is not good medical practice. Your superficial awareness of some mental illnesses or conditions like anxiety doesn’t make you qualified to prescribe or advocate cannabis use. Impaired driving harms and often kills.
Warnings can work, Frank. When I was young I had a lot of officers give me breaks that I probably didn't deserve. The brief memories of those stops have stayed with me ever since, though.
Warnings can work for people who take responsibility without a lousy excuse , the situation is officer discretion-able , and they feel as if the person was impacted enough to change their behavior. I will never forget one officer years ago who gave me a citation when he had two lawful reasons to bring me with him - truly grateful , changed my behavior , and I'm glad his 20 years of service enabled him to consider everything I said in sentence #1
