I love Jade's Geordie accent but sometimes I can't understand it,it may be because English isn't my first language but I want to have that accent
English is our first language and even we can't understand her
It could also me because she has a strong regional accent that people do not hear that often. when she was talking fast I could understand apart from a couple of words but I am from near the area.

i think what also stands out about the accent is the flat “o” sound. like in “over”, others say “oh-ver”, jade pronounces it more like “oo-ver”. love jade & her accent 💞

Can you do Perrie's accent too? Or isn't it that different from Jade's?
I think Perrie is almost similar to Jade's, but Jade's accent is just thicker.
@@theeastwind3020 Yeah it is. Perrie and Jade are from the same area and share an accent. Perrie's accent is just less thick than Jade's but you can notice the similarities in an Alan Carr interview where they talk about their Geordie accents! They take the name Ian as an example
Jade just has a much thicker accent as jade stayed a lot in south shields
That accent has so many features!! That makes it sound super different for an untrained ear ! Thanks Tom for describing all of this ! Very useful !
I saw a lot of comments requesting Zayn so I hope i’m gonna saw and hear it soon! I can even suggest some interviews and 1D moments that are absolutely amazing but even the interview he did in Bradford stadium after he left 1D.

As a South Shields boy it's nice to get some love for my town 🙂However, we're not south of Newcastle, we're to the east where the River Tyne meets the North Sea - which means we're actually further north than some parts of Scotland. Also film director Ridley Scott and former Williams racing team owner Sir Frank Williams are from South Shields. I remember reading that the Geordie accent is actually the closest remaining dialect to the original Anglo-Saxon language, and as such a bit of a rarity throughout the whole of Europe. Yay us!!
