I would love to try this. Granted, it won't be as fun as actual downhill skiing, but better then no skiing at all.
Former ski racer here -- I think there might be too much friction between the surface and the ski. The skier is being trained to keep his weight much further back than I remember being realistic on snow.
Then maybe making the slope steeper could help.
As a former ski racer too, the friction makes the transition between turns unrealistically slow. I think this is great conditioning, but the skier is picking up all sorts of bad habits on this.

Sometimes I wish I wasn't an off-piste skier, so things like this could get my ski fix in during the summer. Ive only seen one dry slope that actually has variable terrain and moguls (across the ocean from me) so I just wait a month for the ground to dry after thaw so I can mountain bike. Most painful month ever.

it is a synthetic carpet 2-3 cm thick, currently the best covering in the world. 🙂

In fact it's very close to outdoor skiing.
Indoor skiing allows you to correct mistakes made outdoors, it is a very good way of training before the season. 🙂

Je trouve ca cool comme systeme.
Est-ce vraiment du carving on voit pas trop comment ca marche.
Par contre c'est pas très réaliste la personne ski avec 1m30 environ alors qu'en slalom on ski avec des 1m65
Je trouve que c'est vraiment bien pour corriger sa posture et pour améliorer la dissociation
Je trouve aussi le système pas mal pour la précision mais attention quand même aux enfourchements

Bien sûr pas de relief (creux, bosses ) et apparemment une vitesse constante mais ça doit être rigolo quand même et sûrement très intéressant pour l' entrainement pré-saison sur le plan musculaire ...bonne idée ...(sans la musique horrible ...please !! ) ...
si jamais on peut varier l inclinaison et la vitesse pendant que l on ski !(je me suis déjà rendu la bas)
