    Is this just regular acrylic paint? Did you coat it with anything? How durable is it? Dishwasher safe? Thanks

    If you only bling certain parts of your wine glasses. The part that doesn't have the rhinestones and just glass how do you clean/shine it once your done blinging them? Also I spray painted them too. What can I use to clean off the glass without making them cloudy?

      Hand wash only - soap and water :)

    I have so much acrylic paint for my other painting projects. Can I use this acrylic paint versus buying Gare party paints? I really really wanna try this I just don’t have the budget to start over buying new paint

      Hi Anna! We have never tested other acrylics - only our Gare paint. However, it could definitely work, but we always recommend doing a test piece first. :)

    How long after the initial pour did you wait before wiping with a wet sponge?

    • @GareInc
      @GareInc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It dries pretty quickly so you can do it fairly quickly after the pour.

    What paint / medium
    Ratio ! Or do use water. ? This is way too cool !!! So no resin needed ? Have wash ? Sourly so many ?? I’m amazed !

      These are Gare Acrylic Party Paints. Take a Dixie cup and fill it 1/4 of the way up. Then add 2 teaspoons of water and stir. No resin is needed. :)

    Do you seal them with anything?

    • @GareInc
      @GareInc  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Nope - if you use Gare Party Paints, no need to seal once baked.

    I have baked mine and note that metallics on the bottom bubble up. Don’t know what to do about that. The metallics on the glass itself do well with no bubbling. All other paints seem to do ok.

    Is this food safe once baked.

    • @GareInc
      @GareInc  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      :) Yes - if you are using Gare Party Paints they are safe. Once its baked in the oven the dishwasher doesn't even take the paint off. In addition as a precaution and possible chipping after prolonged use, we leave the rims exposed and there is no paint on the interior of the glass. This way you are only touching the original glass when drinking.

    Can you tape off the section at the top?

    • @GareInc
      @GareInc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes you can, but be sure to peel the tape off while the paint is still damp. If you wait too long and it dries it can also pull the paint off. Thanks for watching!

    They look great but Do you find some of the paints bubble,the thing is baking is the only way I have found that stops the paint pealing off

    • @GareInc
      @GareInc  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes - the Gare Party Paints are the best ones to use. The artist even ran them through the dishwasher a couple times and no issues.

    Do you bake while wet or wait for them to dry?

    • @GareInc
      @GareInc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can let them dry. They dry fairly quickly and will be dry before they go in :) Thanks for watching!

    The white text on light background is hard to read. Should be white on dark or black on light

  • @olivialove8233
    @olivialove8233 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    Can I still bake if I use a white spray paint as a base first?

    • @GareInc
      @GareInc  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      No need for the white base. If you do use one, use the acrylic Party Paints and you should be good.

    Very nice. Not trying to be rude but your text box should have different color letters. It is hard to read quickly maybe dark teal or purple letters. Just fyi thanks for the great information video is great.

    • @GareInc
      @GareInc  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Sally! Not rude at all :) We agree and have since changed it on more recent videos. Thanks so much for watching!

    Why did you bake them?

    • @GareInc
      @GareInc  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      To better cure them :) This way they will be able to be hand washed and the paint will stay on - more durable
