Thanks for sharing, just watched the movie on Hallmark channel and wondered where it was filmed. Such a shame they did not release this movie to theaters.
The thing about this movie that hit home is I adopted an Akita 10+ years ago. The Akita is really that loyal and watches over me. I've had dogs my whole life but not an Akita. Not knocking other dog breeds but an Akita bonds to you like nothing I ever known. Wouldn't leave her for anything, my best friend.
Whats incredible, Hatchi knew that fatefull day something bad was going to happen..he acted strange and fetched for the 1st time (it would be his last), goodbye buddy.
It was a nice movie...surprised it was never released for theater in the US...better than most of the junk out there. Also kids need a movie about love and loyalty instead of these stupid cartoons that insult their intelligence.
I lived in Woonsocket for 26 years. It is exciting to see the beautiful old depot showcased for this movie! There is much that is still beautiful and historic in the city...contradicting the "polishing a turd" comment below!

The movie did a good job of polishing a turd. Woonsocket is a pit.
