The Meltzer Driver has to be the stupidest looking "maneuver" I've ever seen. The Buck whos jumping almost never makes actual contact and it doesnt add any oomph to the tombstone.
Yet I would prefer The Meltzer Driver over the BTE trigger thing...which is probably the phoniest looking tag team move ever! Atleast, the Meltzer driver is a tombstone...but this is just two grade schoolers lifting their knees to your cheeks.
I feel like the flip that makes no real contact is that way on purpose as kind of a troll to wrestling purists. It does show that they're head is not in the right place when it comes to wrestling in general.

I haven't watched AEW in over a year. I watched this with a friend because someone streamed it on Twitch. My God. Soooo many false finishes, so many moves that do no damage, so much non-selling. The straps absolutely need to come off the Bucks. They're not a championship type team. They're luchadores, only there's way better luchadores. How much better would that match have been if it were The Revival as heels Vs Moxley and Kingston as faces? That's a match you can sell. The bucks belong on the preshow facing Chuck Taylor and pockets (not a fan of OC). Omegas run hasn't been bad. Having Callis has helped. Continuing to do hardcore matches with Moxley has helped get him over as a tough SOB, and recently he's calmed down the Twinkle-toes McFingerbang shtick a bit. Cody beating Ogogo is absolutely unforgivable. Terrible booking.

I was amazed so many thought it was a classic. I don't think it was terrible by any stretch, but there were far too many false finishes, Moxley needlessly bled again which is just diminishing returns, and the finish was the shits.

What weirded me out was moxley getting his ass beat building up the to hot tag to Eddie and then Eddie’s in the match for like 2 minutes and then back to moxley. Kingston did almost nothing the entire match.

Then whenever Mox and Kingston tried to double team he immediately kicks one out. He doesn't do a count for them, but for the other two he starts off with this slow ass count, then recounts, then counts some more. Like dude do your fucking job.

I haven't watched AEW in over a year. I watched this with a friend because someone streamed it on Twitch. My God. Soooo many false finishes, so many moves that do no damage, so much non-selling. What's the point? Why did Moxley randomly kick out at 1 after getting his shit pushed in for 20 minutes? Why did that ref do absolutely nothing?

The straps absolutely need to come off the Bucks. They're not a championship type team. They're luchadores, only there's way better luchadores. How much better would that match have been if it were The Revival as heels Vs Moxley and Kingston as faces? That's a match you can sell. The bucks belong on the preshow facing Chuck Taylor and pockets (not a fan of OC).
Omegas run hasn't been bad. Having Callis has helped. Continuing to do hardcore matches with Moxley has helped get him over as a tough SOB, and recently he's calmed down the Twinkle-toes McFingerbang shtick a bit.

I was amazed so many thought it was a classic. I don't think it was terrible by any stretch, but there were far too many false finishes, Moxley needlessly bled again which is just diminishing returns, and the finish was the shits.

God this match infuriated me. Why the hell was the ref just allowing handicap matches happen throughout what's supposed to be a tag team match. Then whenever Mox and Kingston tried to double team he immediately kicks one out. He doesn't do a count for them, but for the other two he starts off with this slow ass count, then recounts, then counts some more. Like dude do your fucking job.
It's funny. The Bucks jobbed a little bit in the beginning of AEW and waited to win the tag titles so that when they did, they could go full Road Warriors and start beating everyone and portray themselves as the greatest tag team of all time but they must be pretty stupid if they think anyone with half a brain wouldn't see right through that crap.
