@@BooksNest Thanks 😊 Have you read "The Dictionary of Lost Words" by Pip Williams? It's a feminist historical fiction, but incorporating real people, about how the Oxford English Dictionary was written, as well as the suffragette movement. It's just a beautiful ode to words and women's strength. I think you'd really like it! (well, hope so anyway 😅)
My family and I were vacationing in London the first half of June and visited a Waterstones in Bloomsbury. That was the most amazing bookstore I’ve ever seen! I’ve never seen anything like that at home (in the US).
Loved this video!! Oxford is my hometown but I had no idea a couple of these shops existed, so I definitely have to check them out next time I’m in the city centre!😍😍
Thinking about books set in Oxford.. have you read the His Dark Materials trilogy? Philip Pullman is one of my favourite fantasy authors and I think you would like the series (if you haven’t read it already) 😊
Thank you so much, I'm really glad you liked it! The bookmark is from the MagikMoonchild shop on Etsy, here's the link: www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MagikMoonchild
Am so intrigued by you talking about Babel. That I went to my local Chapters-Indigo store today and pre-ordered their exclusive edition of the book. They also had a special deal on this edition so was able to get about 10.00 bucks off. It is normally 34.75 I believe. And the deal was for 26.75. Plus since I have their Rewards card. I got another 10% off. So about 24 (and change). Plus I got books 3 & 4 of Heartstopper. Had found books 1 & 2 at my Walmart the day before. So now have the complete series. Can't wait Finally read them. Loved the series on Netflix. I binged it in a day❤️❤️❤️
This was so lovely! Thank you for taking us with you!
Sat at home recovering from a knee injury, so living my books & café life vicariously through you 😅 Thanks for the beautiful day out 🥰
I hope your knee is better soon! You're very welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

OMG you’re a fountain pen girl!!! What pen is it?
I’m looking forward to Babel. I’m not able to pre-order in my country yet but I definitely will.
Looked like a Kaweko to me.
Babel is soooooo good, I hope you enjoy it! And yes it is indeed a Kaweko, really nice and smooth to write with!
I can’t wait to hold Babel in my hands 😤
It's soooo good, 100% worth it!
