    Nice to look n admire but definitely not my cup mytea coz it needs very careful n lots of time maintenance...hiiii sorry

      depends on the one you make and the plants inside. I've only started to make my own recycling glass jars for my seedlings to help get them started and they're doing absolutely fantastic. they will eventually out grow them but by then they'll be happily rooted and fine to repot and we can start all over again with new baby seedlings. if you have a close system they're actually pretty low maintenance, just require airing once a week, a spray with water if too hot and a glass wipe with a tissue and they're good to go.
      you can also grow philodenrens, monstara and pothos in a larger one too. currently I have a baby dark lord philodenren growing in one (they can get VERY big) amongst some seedling strawberries because it's a far warmer environment as my house is too cold to root plants out from seed. (prop boxes don't work for me well sadly.)

    Two...no, you do not need all those layers and extra components in a terrarium for it to work.
