You make DoD seem quite fun to play, I just don't see myself buying it though. Shame animalia is in the state it's in rn, because that was fun to watch as well
i would wait for the UE5 update where they switch engines and bring out a ton more content. They said its gonna come at the end of the year but i doubt it. Theres also gonna be a new mega map.
@@roadrunner4176 Changing engines might be nice, but it doesn't exactly improve things. And developers often say they're brining a ton more content but often list it as 'etc' or 'and more!', and the actual content isn't much. As for a new map- Bigger doesn't mean better; it just means its harder to find people / hunt.
We'll just have to wait and see, I guess.
@@TheBlueKio To be fair the developer forgetting to actually set up Lumen for the Q&A stream and showing off the old bought MAWI maps and dragons within default UE lighting and not realizing it and praising himself for a good job done. Rookie programmer doing a mistake that only a person who is looking at the UE for first time is pretty bad.
@@TheBlueKio though I agree about the developers shady past being pretty messed up, but I’m willing to give them the benefit of the doubt that they realized IE5 was coming out, so they stopped all progress involving UE4, and just got ready for UE5, which would be a nice sign
I own a lot of the games he plays and i can vouch to say they are not near as fun for me as they are for this guy. If you dont have a lot of time to invest in getting good at learning the maps and different combat mechanics and their exploits, youre probably just going to be killed pretty early on by someone who does. Much more worth it to just watch him play.

Maybe you should try being nested in? that Acid spitter probably had a good bloodline and he could of certainly killed you if he wasn't off guard.

Tip about fighting as ASD. Don't bile until you are a second before biting them. As when you bile, it creates a loud warning sound and makes you super visible. So its best to only put it on when you have a confirmed hit and they havent seen you. Spitting only gets rid of armor, no stam (unless you get lucky). So its best to bite a flying dragon first to get it grounded and then spit
your expectations in the players of DoD reaction time is too high
@@dappahraptah9566 Some players definitely cant hear a biled asd coming xD But you just dont want the people who can hear it coming to get away, cause then those are usually the guys who can shoot a running ASD easily

Honestly with how easy it looks to harass and get behind a flame stalker to kill it, I am actually glad they have such an absurd AOE to actually combat a careless attacker.
True, but flamestalkers also have MASSIVE damage, a full grown fs can kill a full grown asd in about three bites
Too bad flamestalkers can’t fly…oh wait
It would be nice to see some more stories from this game. It's been in my mind for a few days now. Just pops in every once in a while. At first I wasn't even sure if it was one of your videos I was remembering, but yeah, more of this please, Owl.

Nice little tip: if you're on fire, don’t use stamina and It will fall off faster.

18:11 btw acid wont work on other acid spitters u have 100% or more in defence on acid on acid spitter u can check it by just pressing i and u see the defences, u dont need to spit or put the acid bite on when attacking other acid spitters. 19:30 look ur effects u have no acid on u and the acid spit did nothing

Thanks man glad you did a solo run there and played with dna. That fire dragon though is a little unbalanced. The game seemed laggy to me where there was d sync u should have hit that dragon but he wasn't really there. I really do enjoy the solo vid/kills and the skill display compared to these other videos like (red dead redemption) btw I still have all my skill in Mhrsb. If i see a solo titled video i take the time to watch it, i play solo too i think it fine tunes our talent and makes us a better player and of course the freedom of playing how we want!

This is making me want me to play a pvp server. Only thing that sucks is tail riding since ss can’t bite back, and their stam is down so they can’t fly. I’ll have to figure that out since my main is ss :p

I see this is a DLC species and nice and all, but man they need to redo the map for terrestrial beings. I don't own the game but from the looks of it the map is made for fliers. Would be great to see more/denser vegetation added like the dino games have.

I played this game when it first came out. It was very fun until I realised they were just stealing ideas of dragons from other people and plopping them in the game like their own. Fun game, not worth the drama of them stealing though.

Drake/Wyrm/Lindworm
& more Dinosaurs .............. and dynamic flying & falling (dynamic flight physics) and intelligent nesting...........(the Game is basically the mod for Ark (play as Dino's........with a lot less Dino's) but they need to do more to make it more original and unique IMO.

How i survive... I have a shimmer ss from july 21st or 24th 2021.. Incase you dont know the day of open beta..
After playing The Isle [evrima] I can't play any of the other animal survival games that have these massive turn radiuses. They're still fun to watch the development of and to watch people play but I can't bother to play them myself -- the turn radius stuff is just too off putting now.
