@@AAAAAAAAAhAAAAhAAAAAAAAha #83 would be great to open if the crate didn't cost a whole key too. The expected value is only 1.02 - 1.12 keys, but the cost is 1.9 - 2.0 keys when you consider the cost of the crate alongside the key to open.
Zed your videos are lit as always! My only concerning thought is: do you buy all those crates and keys? I don't see it as positive considering Valve's earnings on your deeds...
I trade my openings for more keys. When I have to, I buy more keys for cash from Mannco.store (my sponsor) Can you explain in more detail what you mean? If you look at the lifetime profit chat at the top, I'm profiting for my channel so far. I'm pretty happy that I've got to open thousands of crates "for free". @@_TheLetterZed I'm not sure I like the idea of handing money to a company that behaves just like they do nowdays. As I said, your content is a blast, really enjoy watching and seeing your dedication to achiev such high quality on design and presentation, but still my weak spot is to think that Team Fortress 2 is near unplayable and they still make money of it by doing nothing and letting it rot...
@@ceejimm Ah yeah, I hear your pain on feeling abandoned. The bots make the game harder to play and the lack of updates make it less exciting. I've personally had a blast playing TF2 over the past six months and I don't think TF2 is near unplayable. I think it's in maintenance mode, sure, but it's in a really balanced state. If you watch any of my streams, you can see how seldom I bump into the bots. A very fun time for me, at least! I'm also really excited about the number of VScript gamemodes and maps we'll continue to get over upcoming updates. Those are easier to do and don't require rebalancing new weapons. I do really miss the meta being shaken up though, and I hope the bot situation gets improved.
All this will do is convince people to buy more crates, unlock them and end up devaluing stranges in the end becoming unprofitable and making stranges cheaper yet crate worth going up for little to no reason.
@@i_pee_sitting05 Yep, you certainly can try to speculate on crates going up or Stranges going down based on my videos. Same things happen when other creators make videos on a specific weapon, their prices go up too. I don't personally play the speculation game, it's way more fun to just open crates "for free." For me, the goal is to build an audience, not to manipulate the market and speculate on the crates I put in my video. I'm just focusing on opening whatever is profitable, regardless of what crate it is. You can always check my inventory or my Trello board to see what I'm planning on opening, I really value transparency.
the fact that a strange kritzkrieg is more expensive than a aussie eyelander is shocking
I mean I think the odds of an eyelander is actually higher than the kritz
Eyelander is war paintable Kritz is not. Kritzkreg is probably more expensive too due to getting a lot more assists with it via kritz.

Zed id recommend unboxing the killstreak cases as they're incredibly profitable
You're talking #91? I've only got that at 0.65 expected value, which would be at least a 0.35 key loss with each open. Unless I'm missing something?
@@_TheLetterZed there is another crate with ks (Crate #83) i have personally unboxed two basic and made almost a full return

Its midnight and saw this video getting posted so might aswell watch it. (Also what hud do you use?)
MiddleMann for my in-game hud, but for my openings those are all just Google Sheets overlayed in OBS
