    Yeah Misled was my favorite, it featured on DC Niagara Falls TV special, full show available on YT.

      I was going crazy for days after seeing that DC Special. I even recorded it at a very high FPS so I could play it back slowly to figure it out (it didn't help! LOL).

      @@biot2156 Oh my god!! you too, I also tried rewinding and playing the old vhs tape over and over, finally decided to buy it, and when I open the package the gimmick fell out, I immediately knew how it worked.

    A good ending: ... tare the paper up say just ordinary paper then break the pencil and say just an ordinary pencil pick up the money and act like your going to rip it in half then say oh ya ... this was yours and hand it back.

    I think you could probably borrow a bill and a Walgreens receipt (they're long enough) to do this as well. You'd have to be sneaky in how you fold it, probably fold it towards you, and pretend like you messed up so you can fold the flap behind it, but make it look like it's just you refolding the first part to make the lengths correct. Then put it on the table to fold the bottom half, perform the trick, and finish with the rip.
    If the receipt is too long initially, you could quickly measure the length by placing it over the bill with one end of the receipt flush with the edge of the bill, then folding it at the point that it reaches the end of the bill, then doing that again. You could put it at the edge of the table to rip the end off. Then just leave the ripped piece on the table while you perform the trick. Especially if you do it 'wrong' or pretend to, so you could rip off two sections (if the receipt is long enough). And then when you leave them the bill and the pieces of the receipt, they won't be able to keep track of how many you tore off at first, and they will just assume that the larges piece was the only one used, the other three being the extra long portions you measured and ripped off at the start.
    If both parts are borrowed, it would be more impressive, but it might not be as convincing if the receipt is too see-through/thin.
    As secondary advice, I would make sure you get a pencil that is just short enough for you to do that move you did where you held it all in your hands and stretched one finger out to push the bill through. Definitely don't borrow the pencil because it could potentially be too long.

  • @cgi2173
    @cgi2173 ปีที่แล้ว

    Yep, figured it out. Slide down the inside of the paper, outside of the bill. But you fold the paper further in, so sliding the pencil wouldn't work.
    Unless it's in the way you fold the bill and paper.

    I'd love to pull this out at a restaurant that uses paper rings to hold the napkin and utensils together, and just use the paper ring.

    You could get a bunch of these strips made up with advertising on them to give away at the end of the performance. Great going and keep on keeping on (obviously)

  • @chrisdedavid1860
    @chrisdedavid1860 ปีที่แล้ว

    1:39 "That can be given away and examined..."
    My willing spectator: "hahaha, I see how you did it... look everyone, look at the paper"
    PS: I like the idea of using a napkin, maybe the extra layers of the napkin can help camouflage things and look normal after the effect is complete.

    Hi Lloyd, awesome. Thanks for the share. I'm a subscriber and a big fan love your stuff. I noticed the first time I watched during the performance were the led side of the pencil was poking through when shown all around. Didn't look right to MY eyes. I wonder if non magicians would notice it as well? I will have to give it a whirl and see if they do. The very ending with the extra convincer is devious. That'll keep the spectators busy for a while. Can also give a magician plenty of time to get set with whatever trick they want to do next if you get my drift.

    Brother, the paper is too long at the beginning of the routine, this is noticeable. And when you put the paper on the bill, it becomes short, this is also noticeable.
