Malm and Kullen, I am assembling both now, and realising malm opens smoothly because the rail is metal, kullen is plastic rails and doesn’t move anywhere close to smooth, it’s hard to open and close
Regretting kullen
Malm is best for budget

hey! i noticed what really helps on kullen is putting some wax on the plastic rails! it's crazy how much it helps!!! :D i really prefer the look of the kullen taller 5 drawers in my room because they have the full width drawers. where as the malm has the top drawers as 2 separate ones, which is very odd looking.

the drawer runners is a massive design defect. do you have a solution in replacing the plastic ones with metal ones without disregarding the kullen series? (the kullen fits our space really well)

Agree, Kullen is clearly worse in every way and costs what Malm used to cost before they increased all of their prices during/after covid

KOPPANG or MALM?

In my country, IKEA malm price is similiar to Koppang. So that makes malm an interesting choice .
If i have to choose, i will get IKEA Koppang, because simply it has handle, easier to open / close the drawer.
And second, there's a gap / distance between floor and koppang, it makes me easieyto clean up the floor.
