1:40 sms is not just texts, it's a texting protocol. There's also mms and rcs. mms is just sms, but supports larger messages and larger attachments. rcs is NOT sms, in fact it's an entirely different texting protocol. rcs allows even larger messages and attachments, typing indicators, read receipts, group texts (in the protocol), reactions, and it's end to end encrypted. If it was just sms but end to end encrypted, then you wouldn't get read receipts, larger attachments, etc.

One of my favorite apps that I've ever download was a volume controller that allowed you to control the volume of individual apps while using them simultaneously it was on a rooted device with magisk
00:37 - also if you're on a call on your laptop such as a meeting, it will mute all the microphones and speakers and then when the call ends - it unmutes them and restores them back
8:32 Correction, you dont necessarily have to pay for Infinity. You can patch the apk with your own api key and it will work there are tutorials on that
RCS doesn't always encrypt.. it's optional depending on if it's supported. might want to use something else that requires encryption if that's the concern!
Simple App was a set of apps completely open-source, but the developer sold it off to a shady mobile app development company. One of the lead developers in the Simple Apps project forked off Simple Apps and created Fossify, so Fossify wasn't sold off; it's a fork.
VLC on Android works poorly but it still offers more features than MPV. I've been using VLC for a few years and it hasn't really improved much. They're playback bugs, network shares are glitching and the UI is just not very polished. Still one of the best media players. On desktop VLC works much better though.
MPV android lacks some features. And it doesn't support HDR playback. It tone-maps it to sdr. And compared to MX player, even VLC lacks a lot of features (they said 4.0 will bring new features and fix some things but it has been years since then and there's still no 4.0). I would leave the bloated and adware mess that is MX player, once VLC gets good enough.

It's funny how the bottom of the iceberg had the most amount of apps I use compared to others

Iphone people:
these apps just cant exist for em unfortunately
deserved
@williampiti you know there is a thing called TestFlight
You don't buy an iPhone and expect it to function

( If you know you know 😜 )

So much value in short time. Subscribed!
I thought KDE Connect would only work with a Linux KDE desktop.
It's available for windows too
@Im_kirito Hences the word "thought".
same, I've only seen it on the KDE dekstop environment
When I saw this video on my feed, I was like "I remember watching this before", now I realized you're making videos in English. Good luck!

Fossify isn't foss anymore. The maintainer sold it to a company
