Later Pig Destroyer's a poor example of grindcore; they're using a lot more elements from hardcore these days. Try listening to their earlier work like 38 Counts of Battery and Prowler in the Yard and see how you go.

Pig destroyer IS the gap between hardcore and grind. This is exactly that. Stop trying to group them into one genre because in doing that you are destroying what they've built. How hard is this to understand? Open your mind to all of the possibilities of music.

Wowzers. I'd never would imagine the words pig destroyer and heavenly could go in a sentence together. Pig destroyer is a heavenly sound to my ears. This was a great stumble upon.
Stop all the nonsense pig destroyer is a awesome 3 man unit and pull it off beautifully. Never polished untouched dirty the way this style should be. Aggressive in your face intensity start to finish. To an untrained ear it could sound like a mess no rhythms all jumbled scrappy . For a real listener well to us it's music it's sick and I fucking love it.
If it moves me I like it. Not impressed with the new style honestly. Meshuggah is one of my all time favorite. I have a broad spectrum of listening. Isis, cave in, crowbar, soilent green, list goes forever Hahahaha

.nu metal deathcore all sounds the same. Breakdowns are predictable and boring. I'm not a fan. My band is doing are best to steer clear of your typical sound. We've managed to originate not duplicate.

I started a band after twelve yrs of being idol. Were all in same page as far as our sound. We are tracking our demo next week. Were also on Facebook. Look up our page. Choke on your teeth. We are what progression should be not all this garbage I hear daily. We are driven by crowbar/pig destroyer/dying fetus mash those three into one with original timing signatures and you have a metal beast. We got pretty good shows lined up. Playing with prong in September. Cryptopsy in November. There is so many sick bands where I live its hard to stand out we have done it.

I know that Tony Hawk games have had metal in their soundtracks and that American Wasteland had Gravedancer, but this seems pretty out of place.
Of course, Underground 2 had That's Life and Ring of Fire, so maybe we should've expected some odd picks for the soundtrack.

Catholics and Jews can listen to Pig Destroyer. Isn't the vocalist Catholic? In the song "towering flesh" the vocalist JR did say "my Catholic wine" i dont know if hes really Catholic but at one point i thought he was.
