What I love about this fight is the sheer spectacle of it all. It is in stark contrast to where the series started from on the PS2 and I think that is a good thing. Sora has really grown up. I don't know if I have it in me to put in the 300+ hours to see how he got to this point. I stopped after Lost Jungle in KH1 HD Remaster.
I was capped out at Organization 13. Then when I got to him I attempted 3 trys and said "I'm done". Never went back to try to beat him. This is impressive though. 👏
My brother beat him on critical this past week, but I've honestly never heard him say "shit" and "fuck" as many times in his ENTIRE LIFE as I heard him say it these past two months.
Update: playing on proud mode, at the end of the world now.. what a game so far :D Just decided to start playing. Copy will be here today or tomorrow, can't wait
I love stuff like this because sora doesn't seem like a very skilled keyblade user (unlike riku or aqua) but this gameplay makes me think that's how sora actually fight and it's why he's considered the best :')
What I see here in this battle is this player figured out the pattern of attacks since Yozora it likely took quite a while and many deaths to figure out how to predict the pattern. Great work by the player here.
there's two things I usually do differently: first I use a single shot from Oathkeeper/Oblivion's shotlock to stagger him after the "drain scan" move, second I time a Thundaga to interrupt his sliding attack, though countering him out of the second slide is a good way to deal with that too
Here is the story got kinda convoluted, one thing I always wondered. Is the sora were playing as the real sora anymore or just a copy sora made from the links he's made through adventures.
@RegularDude I definitely need to replay kh2, was my favorite one and always wanted to do the aqua fight and lingering will. Took me forever just to beat sephiroth
Nah, dark inferno is actually the equivalent of sephiroth. Both are the easiest superbosses of both games and both are present in the vanilla version of their game.
It’s actually the opposite; him losing is non-canon. The game categorizes the winning cutscene as “true ending.” Nomura also said in a recent interview that the only reason a cutscene was added if you lost was to give something to the player if they couldn’t beat Yozora; it didn’t mean anything more than that. So yeah; the losing scene was non-canonical actually.
Didn't the light novel come out with him losing the fight before he even realizes what happened. I mean it would make sense for him to lose if you've seen the KH4 trailer.
@@RegularDude117 Is this fight even canon? Like how the hell does even have this fight when he's in the quadram realm? Didn't Yozora said this isn't the real world.
Yeah, I don’t buy this on critical for real or you have to be cheating or something or using fake ass mods because everybody would be getting hit on this bus on care who you are
Critical mode doesn’t effect boss AI lol. Plus there’s also my health bar. It’s only that small on critical mode. Just because your bad doesn’t mean this is impossible.
Ah, the keyblade people use for their first time in this fight before getting completely destroyed
Same keyblade used before being rekt by optional bosses in the past games
@TheGlassMan Lingering Will be like that tho. Doesn't care if you have Ultima Key, he'll still whoop (and whip) ya
I'm talking bout' straight WREKD me😐😐
"But the Ultima Weapon is all-powerful! Why does my enemy still stand?"
This is what I call keyblade master

Nah it's more like 200 hours or so to get through the whole series assuming you play everything since each game is around 20-30 hours
Me in 2020 trying to get to lvl 99 and Ultima weapon:
This dude:
IT WAS ME,Regular Dude,WHO DID IT BEFORE YOU!
Well, I still had my Level 99 and Ultima Keyblade when I started ReMind in general!
Incredible, I've never seen anyone survive this long with taking a single hit on himself.
th-cam.com/video/5v5QloYc030/w-d-xo.html I’ve done this fight with restrictions as well.
Thank you.
KH really was Dark Souls before Dark Souls with the way the bosses are
Today’s lesson: always have a “thunder-buddy” on your side it could come in handy
The fight was excellent! And the finishing move was a nice touch
Damn. Took me like 2 days to just be able to beat him and I still can't do it every time. Even if you learned the patterns that's extremely impressive
I was capped out at Organization 13. Then when I got to him I attempted 3 trys and said "I'm done". Never went back to try to beat him. This is impressive though. 👏
Same still haven't beat him yet. Replaying the series rn tho prolly gonna try again
He's really not that difficult ones you learn the moves honestly felt like xehanort and saix were alot worse
The furthest I ever got was getting through this first hp bar
Definitely should 💙🫡
Lmfaooo
It's all fun and games until he starts the battle with his DM.

yozora or whatever his name is lost because he doesnt know Sora has the unbeatable magical disney power of friendship.

That's all kh3 critical is. You can't go through critical on instinct alone, it's not designed to be a fair experience.
Is that not how you beat bosses by learning their attack patterns and how to counter?
this is what i had to do to beat xion in this game learn all of her attacks then completely annihilate her
That fight was epic
I expected this fight to end in a minute lol
well it is a superboss and that DM is very lengthy
@@RegularDude117 that's fair

My crush texted me while watching this video
Ultimate Form is the goat
Incredible !
I don't care what anyone says, kh3 combat is peak after the updates
Nah KH2 is still better and idc what you say
@@Undertaker93 good for u!
Either way, I just want a Sora x Dante crossover. 🤷🏾♂️ KH vs DmC
That thumbnail goes hard
Yo I wouldn't mind playing Verum Rex at all.
Noctis?
great job.
YOU CAN THUNDAGA THE PRISM!‽
Any magic destroys the prism.
you might not respons but what were your abilities during this fight
Here is the story got kinda convoluted, one thing I always wondered. Is the sora were playing as the real sora anymore or just a copy sora made from the links he's made through adventures.
What happens if you die in Yozora boss battle!
The very first time you fight him, if you die, an alternate cutscene plays where Sora dies and Yozora is sent to the Sora’s final world.
I dare you to defeat Yozora with an Wheal of Fate keyblade!
@@BeastProductions2K9 th-cam.com/video/XutAOplxv8k/w-d-xo.html
Late to the party but that was god like. Not once did you get smacked by revenge counter, or build up, or whatever it’s called. Good work
Dang, that's a lot of damage you're doing.
The Station Of Awakening I’m level 99
you would easily beat him at level 99 in beginner mode
Yeah I would. Difficulty doesn’t really matter to me. I only ever play on Critical though.
In Beginner, he's still pretty hard to beat
@@pedrogabs6444 i respect your opinion
@@KeybladeMasterChris it's not really opinion. The way the fight is designed, even kn beginner mode. If you don't learn the fight, you lose.
No damage? CRITICAL MODE? WHAT???
You’re cracked wtf
Wow this fight is har oh wait well he is a bane to all except for this guy the guy in za video
Incredible
Bro I'm playing ffxv.. why is noctis reminding me of this guy????
Is this KH3's equivalent to KH2 Sephiroth fight? How do you reach it?
No the equivalent to this in 2FM would be Lingering Will. To reach him, you have to beat the data organization.
Linger Will, no discuss.

What happened when he took the Keyblade
like how sora stole roxas keyblade mid fight. its a battle mechanic to make the fight harder
Can someone animate this into an anime
