The 4S 996 is definitely the way to go and I think, in general, that the 996 Carrera S has a lot of upside potential. The analysis showed in fact that prices already started to increase.
Know you said it's not a 'youtube car' but more of a personal one, but some more content with this would be so so good. Im familiar with the model and people don't know what they are missing!

Well done ! I bought my B5 RS4 when it was only 5 years old ! Now it’s 18 years old and still own it ! Future classic and rare. The 996 is the perfect investment
I will pick my 992 4S in 10 years (ish). 👍on exterior and interior color. The 4S is all you need and I could drive this till end of my days once children are out of picture. Bit tricky to load golf clubs but at least you arrive in style.

Lapis blue is so classy, along with the extremely cool grey interior. And what more could you want than the cool blue seat belts and a sunroof!! I bloody love a sunroof!! Congrats Tom.... This was an excellent choice. You'll have a great time, and I think you should do videos about it because it's so accessible. Real, normal people can afford it, and it's the best value for money in used cars right now.

Congrats on the purchase. The 996 is better than a 993 (gasp) and isn't as contrived as a 997. Mine has been in 911 magazine and is considered one of the best around. Want a nice upgrade? RSS engine mount will transform it. Feel free to contact if you want a hoon.

I've been a porsche 911 fan for many years since my dad's mate took me out in a old turbo in black and was my first ever time out in a really fast car to me it was but this is a nice edition to your garage good purchase and love your videos
Great purchase Tom (although owning one I’m biased). I laughed at the corrections. The official name of the interior colour is ‘Graphite Grey’ and the tailpipes you refer to were a Tequipment option (I have them on my 4’S’). Good luck with the new wheels!

Hi ,great choice. The 996 c4s is stunning. I have owned mine for 4 years now and love driving it. I think the front headlights are great and give the car an aggressive look. Mine is a 2003 and midnight blue with dark grey interior, it's also 6 speed manual. Plan on keeping it a long time. Live in Australia and love taking it up the hills and on country sack roads, gotta watch out for the roots though. Great buy and good luck with yours.

I've got a 996 turbo tip and the reason I didn't get a manual c4s was the prices were too close to what I paid and at some point I'd need to do the ims and monster munch are my favourite. One thing I'm changing is the seats to leather recaro pole position as the 996 seats fit every arse and they should really be bucket seats

See ppl don’t understand this car was on his wall poster from woolworths it being his childhood dream, now as a businessman he is financially steady & in a position to purchase a classic & good for him, mine is a Diablo (still dreaming) & a 500sl merc (did purchase it) in storage covered in a heated environment with 22k Miles 1 owner red roof black with red red interior special spec (bradshaw & webb Chelsea ) pre merc group like new that’s why it was this model because that’s the model he wanted back then, top purchase awesome motor well done the let your dreams be filled lad!!!!

The market decides and it looks like the 996 c4s is one the most looked after Porsche of this area! They are (still) affordable, they are quite modern, plus the c4s with its Turbo bits is probably the one to get (except the 996 gt3 which was the first ever produced... but they have already reached ridiculous prices at this point anyway...)
Great very cool, not sure how anyone can't not like the headlights as you said in last video their from the le man's winning GT1 in my opinion arguably the most iconic best looking racing car ever, well apart from the 250GTO orDB5 but ya just cool. Go to the Porsche experience centre at silverstone to get some instruction on the areas they have there. I did it in my 968CS and it’s a great day out and would be good for a video.
