quick backstory: btob debuted in that kpop era when every group had a least one member that could do acrobatic stuff, so they were trained for that as well! all the members used to do it back in the day, but as they evolved as a group it didn't really stick (and also around 2015 they started to be known more for their vocals so it didn't make sense to do heavy choreo/acrobatics at all)
also omg i put the angels background for ilhoon because he was born on oct 4 (10/04) and he has a 1004 (which means angel in korean) tattoo so😭😭

8:12 yes they have idol sports called ISAC and Minhyuk was an mvp and medal holders and the vault jump no one has ever defeated his record yet up to this day for idols.
Changsub as a punching bag LOL. Well, in BTOB's pyramid Changsub is the grass, maybe that's why. LOL but in all honesty Eunkwang and Minhyuk is also part of the grass, its always Changsub and Eunkwang they teased most of the time while they can't do anything w Minhyuk since he plays the role as the mom of the group and they can't mess up with him similar 😂
As for Ilhoon, many fans is still rooting for him. Despite his shortcomings, the the wrong path he did for himself he still remains a kind, humble, caring human being. Only horrible people will have the audacity to hate the man. Hope his mental and physical health been better and better day by day. A lot of fans miss him alr. Tyvm for this reaction.

@@hallyureviewsus Ilhoon was accused of using marijuana. Using any kind of substances , even if it's just for your personal use , is illegal in korea and could even have jail sentence. Because of this scandal, he left the group to prevent bad influences it could have on their career.

5 out of 7 members (Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik & Sungjae) all have participated in Masked Singer
Wow! The Masked Singer should do a BTOB special 🤭
4 members were on Kingdom and those performances were so great.
Some more info on members are that Minhyuk just doesn't like clothes (just check out his intsta), likes working out (check out his covers of Men's Health) and super sweet
Peniel is a very uniqe person from my perspective as someone who does a great job having a career in being a "celebrety/idol" but is such an introvert and a very straight forward person. His work on Dive Studieos shows how effortlessly funny he is.
I have watched parts of Eunkwan and Changsub's musicals and they overflow with tallent. I believe both Eunkwan and Hyunsik were in one of the most prestigous music schools in Korea. Hyunsik's father is a well known singer as well so it is in his genes and background. Most members have been on Mask Singer at this point. I don't know if I can limit myself to a bias, but Changsub's voice and personality might put him there. He is so willing to be the person people laugh at or with. The BtoB series Reserved and Quiet Idols is older but really shows you how rediculously unserious they really are.
(And personally, not to offend anyone, I think if BtoB were in America with our attitues on things, Ilhoon would still be an active member of the group and I miss him)
Just a correction, I know Eunkwang and Sungjae also studied Practical Music but Changsub and Hyunsik are the ones who graduated from the prestiguous Howon University. The competition to get in was so tough that they were the only 2 male applicants who got accepted during the year when they applied 😊 Was trying to put here a link of a compilation video where they mention it in interviews but TH-cam keeps thwarting my attempts 😅
And I love Changsub's voice too and he's my bias 😄

Subscribed! Thanks for reacting to this Guide because I never get tired of watching people watch it! My Spotify playlist is full of their b-sides because they have a lot of R&B and most of their songs are just that good, but their live performances are the best. I tend to recommend watching an early career("Wow"), mid-career ("Way Back Home" with English subs) and recent MV ("Wind and Wish" with subs) just to get a taste of their progress through their career. Also, you will love reacting to the BTOB 4U subunit's Kingdom Legendary War stages (2021), if you have not already done it. Also, each of them have at least 1 solo MV. I don't think you'll be disappointed with whatever you choose.

Minhyuk is claimed to be one of the most athletic celebrities in South Korea! He has several records that hasn’t been broken for years. In one of the events he was 0.01 second away from a WORLD RECORD in indoor 60m sprint (but the rumours is that they timed it wrongly… which can be possible, we’ll never know, it’s been too many years, there were several articles writing about his near world record tho!). Anyway, he was in a program called Dream Team were all the most athletic idols and celebrities would compete and he won most of the episodes. He is a perfectionist and if he was an athlete instead of musician I have no doubt in my mind that he would be an olympian. (I love sports, he’s 100% a sportsman based on his mannerisms and performances on these programs!). Eunkwang, Changsub, Sungjae and Peniel are actually also pretty athletic, (in that order). First of all they all did really well in the military, Minhyuk was a policeman, which means he had to train extra to accepted. People that served with him have said he was outstanding in training and they would gather to watch him do the workouts. Eunkwang was signed in the special forces (you would never guess based on his silly personality, I know😅) but he was top of the class in training in one of the toughest training bases in South Korean’s military and he was also giving an (or 2?) exemplary performace diploma. Sungjae was the face of the military! Which means he was used in commercials and was a mc for the important big events with the president etc. Hyunsik was pore in shooting practice, but would practice so hard, he eventually scored 40/40 which is an exemplary scoring etc, hard to achieve which all earned him a couple of days leave where hw would meet up with BTOB members, family and friends. Changsub was so kind his friends in the military cried when he left. (Sungjae was assigned to the same unita month before Changsub left, that’s how we know this fact 😆). It’s rumoured that Ilhoon did well in shooting practice too. There are people that was in the military with Ilhoon that have told stories about how humble and kind he was. He was very liked and so people that knew him would gather for autographs and he would gladly give them autographs and talk kindly with all. He would give people his chair to sit on if he had one and they didn’t. (Despite his cold and charismatic image, he’s very thoughtful and kind. There’s a video of him being very kind to a group of elderly ladies off camera, from a show he was in). BTOB enlisted in 2 parts so Peniel would not be alone ever and so they could finish military enlightenment early so that they could all gather for their 10th year anniversary, which was very emotional btw! You’ll probably watch it at some point. Their 2018 was probably more emotional tho, a few days before Eunkwang’s enlistment. The whole concert is on YT, with eng subs (mostly).
Peniel was training for Olympics in shooting before becoming an idol, he’s an american citizen so he wasn’t in the military. Sorry for the long comment lol. Thanks for the reaction!💙

The funny outfits from Changsub's section is from one of their Btob 4 beats naver now radio shows during thr 4U era. They were dressed as rock stars for a themed episode. The whole series is fan subbed.
Eunkwang (keyboard/vocal), Changsub (drums/vocal), and Hyunsik (guitar/vocal) (and I think Sungjae on bass?/vocal) were recruited to be an idol band, but the project was dropped when CNBlue debuted. So they learned to dance at that point lol. So that's how they ended up dance idols instead.

@@n.137 - if you are talking about Kingdom War, unfortunately, I (Sabrina) watched a bit of a hodge podge from all over TH-cam to see as much of it as possible. The playlist that I used the most was from Fleur in the Wild (th-cam.com/play/PLs6G29FKQW5Wj52WNPbl6c1myEqYVsc5Z.html&si=SPH-V_-nGcPoIYcz). It is broken up into 159 videos, with varying lengths, but I believe most of it had English subs. I hope that helps!!

Also the reason why the background for Ilhoon's part is "angel" because that is his most used nickname. His birthday is october 04, 1994 if you remove the year it will be 1004 and if you read it in hangul it sounds like "cheonsa" which stands for "angel" ☺️

They don't really care about their image as an idol, you'll find that out if you watch the reserve and quiet idols. As you can see with changsub he's hella loud in the dressing room but he's the punching bag what more about the others who are on top of the BTOB pyramid. 😂😂

I think if you watch Kingdom:legendary war, it will make you feel close to them the fastest. although it had only 4 members (BTOB4U) at the time because the other two were in military service, it shows their interactions with other groups and how each member are great leaders and person and getting respects in the industry. It is also a great way to enjoy their live performances. If you would like to appreciate their live singing, I think you should look up their concerts, 2017, 2018, 2021(4U online), 2022. If you would like live but broadcast singing, look for COLD (from sugarman), Immortal songs 20160813, immortal songs 20170708, Sketchbook 20170401, sketchbook 20220225, KMF 2016 etc...
They do all of their performances live because they have no choice. They cant lipsync for life...... And also make sure to have lyrics with you and understand what they are singing they are really meaningful and poetic.
Oh and the two "Pikicast" they did were really funny as well and you can also appreciate their singing too.
