    Never knew I needed this until now. My friend group has been using the same world file since ~2019 and each year we select a new spawn point. Can't wait to try this out with that map!

    This is brilliant!! I used to use Inkarnate when I was trying to come up with a DnD campaign (RIP Tyndall, a victim to The Curse of Gaming) and never would've thought to use it for my Minecraft worlds!

    ooh this has made me wonder about how to make a tool which would turn a Minecraft world into a map (I don't think it'd be able to identify points of interest but it could get the terrain styling done)

    • @ezequielblanco8659

      This was my first thought as well. Ideally the tool would allow you to add/remove points of interest, move/scale text labels, all in a user friendly way.

      Quick question, I don't know if you've answered this question before, but do you have Reddit or Twitter (now X) where you post updates / maps too ?

    • @serbobertross5948
      @serbobertross5948  15 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      I have a reddit where I post some Minecraft/Map stuff very infrequently (u/p00lscloseddue2aids) and a Twitter where I mostly repost the work of other Minecraft builders I find inspiring (@Ser_Robert_Ross). The discord is definitely where I'm the most active, and you can always ask me to post something specific there if you want (build updates, screenshots of an older build, map showcase, etc.)

    Question: I know a year or so ago you mentioned a content creator you watch who also builds castles and stuff that youve been inspired by or has helped you stay motivated to continue your projects. Im wondering who that person was? I thought i was subscribed to them, but i guess not since i cant find them nor remember their name.

      Yes of course. The only difference is that you can't paint something to only be foreground or background. There are tons of texture effects you can add, and free custom brushes other people have made, that will give similar textures to those found on Inkarnate
