Never knew I needed this until now. My friend group has been using the same world file since ~2019 and each year we select a new spawn point. Can't wait to try this out with that map!
This is brilliant!! I used to use Inkarnate when I was trying to come up with a DnD campaign (RIP Tyndall, a victim to The Curse of Gaming) and never would've thought to use it for my Minecraft worlds!
Dude, i love your content. I respect you very much, you're building and story telling is awesome. I barely can comprehend that somebody's brain can work that well. Your videos really inspire me to try to do my own world. Keep it up man, again much respect.
It is cool that you get as far as drawing map for your world. I'm just making an isometric render for my developed part of my world to show changes in my world.
Gotta say, I never thought to use Inkarnate for this. That's honestly a great use of the tool! btw, you're saying subtract wrong and it's a bit distracting. There's only one 'S' in the word
I was looking for this yeah this is a really good tutorial and cool idea, doesn't take away from it at all but him saying 'substract' over and over again was distracting as heck
ooh this has made me wonder about how to make a tool which would turn a Minecraft world into a map (I don't think it'd be able to identify points of interest but it could get the terrain styling done)
This was my first thought as well. Ideally the tool would allow you to add/remove points of interest, move/scale text labels, all in a user friendly way.
I have a reddit where I post some Minecraft/Map stuff very infrequently (u/p00lscloseddue2aids) and a Twitter where I mostly repost the work of other Minecraft builders I find inspiring (@Ser_Robert_Ross). The discord is definitely where I'm the most active, and you can always ask me to post something specific there if you want (build updates, screenshots of an older build, map showcase, etc.)
This was the best inkarnate tutorial video iv ever seen so far! and iv seen a lot! Question: I know a year or so ago you mentioned a content creator you watch who also builds castles and stuff that youve been inspired by or has helped you stay motivated to continue your projects. Im wondering who that person was? I thought i was subscribed to them, but i guess not since i cant find them nor remember their name. I think it may have been someone youve mentioned before when you were building castle lesly or another one prior.....
I’m glad you liked the video. I’ll say that the creator I watch the most is Bdoubleo100, although I may have mentioned Fwhip. I have other inspirations but those are the big two. I also talk about the Westeroscraft server
@@serbobertross5948 hmm.... none of those are the ones i was remembering. maybe ill watch some of your other videos and see if you posted a link to the person im trying to find
The Inkarnate bit with uploading the world image as a stamp isn't in the free version as custom stamps are only for the paid version. Otherwise lovely tutorial!

Yes of course. The only difference is that you can't paint something to only be foreground or background. There are tons of texture effects you can add, and free custom brushes other people have made, that will give similar textures to those found on Inkarnate

@serbobertross5948 Sorry, I haven't explained myself the correct way. The problem I'm having is that to upload a personalized sticker Inkarnate tells me I can't do it as a free account.
@@zarkox8384oh I’m sorry, that might be case. I didn’t realize while filming but someone said you can’t upload a sticker on a free Inkarnate account unfortunately. I don’t have a good workaround, but if you don’t want to use Krita you can wait for free trial periods on Inkarnate. Last year there were free trials of Inkarnate Pro in November and during the Summer.
I have so much respect for you
Thank you :)

I personally reccomend the aazgar fantasy map generator. Not exactly just for this purpose, but it can be used for it.

When I install MCA selector I get an error that says "failed to find java vm". What should I do?

Just wondering does the MCA selector work with mods
It works fine with the mods I have, not sure how it interacts with mods that add new blocks to the game
Does this tool work witg mods especialy multiblocks?
I'm not sure, I haven't tried it with multiblocks or any mods that add blocks

Try using the uNmINeD link the description, it may work better for Windows edition than MCA Selector

Does MCA work on bedrock or Java?
It works on JAVA. I believe Unmined does something similar for Bedrock

The file might be too big. If so, try using a png compressor.
