Wow, this brings back old memories! I lived in Ontario, Canada from August 2008 till August 2009. I bought a 2002 gtp 40th Ann to get around, because I thought it was a cool car. In May 2009, I decided to do a road-trip to the states. I drove from Grand Valley ON to relatives of mine in Sedrowolley WA. After that I set course to San Francisco, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Hoover dam, The Grand Canyon, Utah, Colorado, Texas, Orlando and Miami, Washington DC and New York City. All through my time in Canada, the harsh winter there and all throughout my journey through the states, the gtp kept on running without any issues. Incredible car in an incredible time in my life… ❤💪🏻🙏🏻
I had this same one, supercharged 3800, GTP all the bells and whistles for 2002, mine was white with all tan leather interior….freaking loved this car and not just because it’s in my time era(I’m 35 yrs old) so I was about 16 when this exact car came out…I am from flint, MI so everyone was driving these and all the GM cars. The 90’s and early 2000’s was my golden era, and now all I want to drive is a GM car from that period. In fact, I’m driving a 09 Tahoe right now with the 5.3, thing is indestructible at 260 thousand miles and going strong. Yes I maintain my vehicles… seriously all I’ve had was GM Cash cars my whole life, taken care of them and they lasted me! I regret selling my GTP, she was a beaut with low miles….can’t wait to get another one day like this one in this video…it will be my son and I’s project car, his daily driver, weekend cruiser, our family’s baby 😂
Sharp car and those GM 3800 (3.8 liter) Series 2 V6's are super bulletproof. The only thing I would swap out is those wheels for a set of chrome mags in the same size as those.
I just saw a 2dr come n go wish I could have bought it. Thanks for having this video at least now I know the color is dark cherry And that it's a special edition. Very pretty combo exterior and interior
I own one of these! Im 16 and its my first ever car that I bought for only 3k! Its so nice, I fuckin love this car to peices
