It looks fun. I wish I wasn't such a wimp about water. We have a boat that seats 8, but hubby and I are tired of getting it in and out of the water so thinking of selling it. Our daughter and her family live in Florida and would love it, but don't want to have to pay to store it. They have a Skijet that seats two, but can handle their young daughter between them.
Love your videos. I just bought an Inlet and took it out on her maiden voyage in a small lake yesterday. It was fun! I want to get a second one so my wife and I can kayak together. Originally thinking of getting another Inlet but now considering a Lake+. Without the bulkhead, the Lake looks much easier to put together! Can you tell the difference between the two as far as performance goes?
Another fun review. I'm 68 and my wife is 75, both active. You're lucky to enjoy the water and each other. Do you like the purple or the Oru seat pad better?
Thanks! If you have an Oru, I think the Oru gel seat is best. It fits under the seat bungee and is comfortable. If you are going to use the seat in different kayaks, then I would get the purple cushion.
I have float bags that I use occasional: th-cam.com/video/v3M43FpRvDI/w-d-xo.html I'm not overly concerned because I always kayak with a buddy and I feel really stable in my kayaks, and always wear a lifejacket.
I'm not 100% sure. We have the Lake that we backed on kickstarter and when it arrived it had the seat that seems to come on the lake+ but It's not the lake+. So yes the gel seat works with what we have, but I would email Oru to check the differences.

How does it track
I think it tracks well for a shorter kayak. They do sell a skeg for the lake, but I don't think it's necessary.
