- Spending hours sat on the standard bench seats, I could hardly walk after with my bad back. Now I can sit back and enjoy the day in comfort.
The keel isn't inflated so the floor moves . Once inflated it's solid.
Whoa! That is a great way to put the seats! It makes the putting away. A lot easier. Thanks for showing.

Good idea but if I’m your I leave the aluminum seats on as they hold the tibes tigger together but cool setup tho I put my chairs woth there back to the aluminum seat for more protection tho it great setup

I added seats to the benches with swivel bottom glued a D ring to each side on the tubes in front then strapped them to a O ring at the bottom of the bench for stability. Yours looks simpler.

I have some of those quick release mounts, but find there is a lot of play in them - do you have the same issue?
Hi Steve dont suppose you know the weight of the Bison 3.9 boat in the bag only without the floor and accessories.?
Checked the Amazon comments on this. Swivel fits loosely in the mount is a common complaint.
Not sure how you worked that one out. It doesn't come with a swivel. I had to grind the sides of my swivel for it to fit.
Perfect and solid for 5 years.

@@4truth69 I'm really not sure of the brand ...I think they're probably all from the same factory.
Just need to get the the width right or somewhere close. Obviously go bigger if unsure because you can always trim some off 👍

It looks like the floor moves a bit with the seat pedestal, is that correct? Or is it that the floor/keel isn't inflated?
Yes keel not inflated . Its solid once inflated.

I had to grind the heads flat on the coach bolts to allow the pedestal to slide in? Did you have to did this

It's extremely comfortable....even on a rough sea.
Everything can be bought . Amazon sell the wise quick release mounts and you can get the pedestals from most places .

How did you mount that to the floor boards? Sorry just got a blow up fishing boat and am trying to install a seat because the benches that it comes with are so uncomfortable

Just used coach bolts that are just about long enough.

For the connections to the floor, what does the underside look like? What type of screws did you use? I am looking to do this but the connection to the floor is where I am having issues.

Are there any other quick-release brackets on the market than this Wise product? I have read a lot of reviews complaining about how the seats are loose and slide when using these Wise quick release brackets.
They are obviously using the wrong size pedestal seating posts. Mine have be solid for 5 years.

Buy the quick release mounts and measure. My swivels were about half inch too big so I cut a bit off the sides to make them a snug fit. I think you get 6 and 7 inch. I have two here you can buy if you want?
I'm on a isolated beach in the Highlands atm so can't really get measurements etc.

I got them from here and sprayed them black . For the quick release mounts try Spindrift.
