Grass flats redfish - Santa Rosa sound Florida - Gulf Breeze / Navarre

A morning walk along Santa Rosa sound in the Florida panhandle turns up a redfish looking for breakfast on the grass flats. Always adds a satisfaction multiplier when you get 'em on artificials! Soft plastic baits rigged weedless got the call since there was a generous wind at our backs.

Thanks a bunch, Mr. Robert. I think I'd rather catch reds on foot from shore than just about any other kind of fishing I've ever done. Sometimes you have to cover a ton of shoreline. I like to think of these flats reds as "Panhandle Bonefish".

Haha! I'm not saying you'll *never* see a catch and cook here, but it'll be an outliar piece for sure. Coolers, ice, fillet knives, cooking prep.....sheesh.....who has that kind of energy? 🤪 Besides, I have a lot of fun watching them swim away. Maybe one day we'll make a meal of it.

Thanks for noticing!!! This is one of my favorite comments of all time...because I do the music for the channel. Out of all of our videos, I'm pretty sure I've only used canned music once or twice for effect. Everything else you hear is something that I or Bobby have played. Tight lines and good times 🤙
