I had a green one of these. It was fun. My favourite camp site was the Geysers near Sonoma California. Ps. When it was time to sell it, I put an ad on the Pennysaver and the cleaners on my corner bought it the first day.
Oh my gosh, are you kidding me, this is amazing. I LOOOOOVE the mechanical step. I had no idea that was a thing. You know how long the electronic ones last, not very. This mechanical step is probably still working today! Thank-you for sharing:)
My favorite Econoline era. I had one that I drove over 200K. I now have an 86 C Class with 30K. These were hands down the best vans in the industry.😃 I will send a photo if you like .
OMG Rob, I graduated HS in 72 and bought this identicle van with money from working at a gas station. It was a 69 Econoline that I customized with highjackers, big fat rear tires and air schocks the same cromies and baby moons. Added porthole windows and customized interrior simillar to yours although not nearly as professional as yours. Those were the days driving around Colorado listning to 8 tracks with my girlfriend sitting on the doghouse and hauling my buddies to rock concerts in Denver.. Quite the specticle. Please, if you ever do decide to sell her ping me back first, maybe it might help me get my old girlfriend back lol...
Pretty funny. The guy that bought it from me paid $24500.00. Drove it from Long Island to California. Then to Mexico and stayed in it for a month straight before returning to NY. He loves it. You know nothing about anything.
Nice van dude!!
What a jewel! 😍
Boy, did this bring back memories!
What a gem of a find!

No tech BS. Everything just works and keeps on working. So tired of fighting techno BS . Just drive down the road and do what you want.
People were tough back then, no a/c or power steering. Wish we could go back to this beautiful van!
