    I would postulate that if you had tech that could make megaton polygonal blocks, the weapons would be even scarier. No one considers that in their research. Why beyond earthquakes would you need megaton polygonal blocks for protection?

      I agree completely. My opinion is humans/denisovans/neanderthals/etc have nuked ourselves back to the Stone Age several times over the last +500,000 years . They knew structures had to withstand hell and be made of organic materials like geopolymer (not chemically manufactured) in order to be sustainable and non-toxic.

    Paul, have you investigated the tunnels that can be seen in the collapsed section of the parking lot off the Great Siege Road? I was in Malta in July having a mooch about and found an area that had been fenced off by the Ministry of the land. I went inside obviously and found a large collapse with tunnels visible below going off in multiple directions. There is also another tunnel at the ditch end of the parking lot that goes back and then upwards into the complex, I climbed up but found it had been bricked up inside, it contained some lifting beams and metal structures inside, any ideas?

    Once you start to look for it you see it everywhere - the cyclopean blocks enormous 1000 tons and up - the megalithic blocks 300 tons - the giant blocks 2 to 10 tons - then the first restorations - human sized blocks - still big blocks - but something 4 men could handle - then our era - cinder block sized stones or blocks - why is this a secret -

    My opinion: Malta is the top of a mountain that became an island. This complex was built around the ice age era when the Mediterranean Sea was either non-existent or had much lower sea level…. To the untrained eye, it Looks like the complex is underground, but actually the sea level just rose up enough to half-way submerge the entire thing…. Every culture over 100k yrs considers their current sea level to be their “ground floor” . When the sea level was lower, the ground floor was lower

      Italy, allied with Germany, launched a campaign to capture Malta in June 1940.
      The island was heavily bombed by the German Luftwaffe and Italian Regia Aeronautica, with over 3,000 raids and 6,700 tons of bombs dropped.
      Malta’s air defenses were initially limited to three Gloster Sea Gladiators, nicknamed “Faith”, “Hope”, and “Charity”.
      Despite being outnumbered and outgunned, the Maltese defenders, including the Royal Air Force (RAF) and Royal Navy, held out against the Axis forces.

    The low channel by the harbour entrance "that you refused to assign to waste usage" at the start could be for ropes and chains to run down from the wall, likely to gate-control or protect the entrance with a sea chain to rip the bellies out of unwanted visitors ships.

  • @rokdoctor6144
    @rokdoctor6144 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

    Paul, my geological interpretation is this area is a natural jointed limestone. The cracks appear natural breaks, at different angles, that have been likely been exploited as easily cleaved/quarried building material. Some faces show vertical climbing 'step' insets. Fascinating.
    Regarding age and past climate, the sea level was 139 meters below present level during the last ice age and rose to higher than present levels around 8000 years back and has dropped subsequently. Seal level and temperature curves are published. Humans will have experienced this transition. Further, Malta and Italy are on the colliding African - Eurasian Plate boundary with its compressive stresses... which fracture and form jointing and faults in the rocks.
    Great enthusiasm... yet perhaps look also at possible natural explanations and aspects.

    I think that we are living on much higher ground now and the UK we live on is the drained remnants of floods. I won't live below 750ft above sea level now. I'm always looking at the malta views on your videos and can clearly see where the flood waters came to and settled before draining back and it seems to be about approx 450ft above sea level which stands to reason if you're an errant. The nearer you are to egypt the small the floods the further away like canada and Scotland the sea level rose thousands of feet. The mountains were mostly covered in flood waters. s

    Looks like where you have pointed out the megalithic sized castings that was taken out in large parts for the brick work to be used, are almost at seemingly regular intervals. It’s not easy to see, but it’s there, I would hypothesize that it was part of the older fortifications and the broken out spaces are where the bastions or parapets were.. and it’s just a thought, but when they were no longer under threat of attack they had removed the larger parts of the wall and built a lot of abodes for housing or they were conquered and they changed the way it was for their own benefit, whatever that might have been.. or a great and extreme Calamity over took them and everyone else.
    That’s why everything was buried and left in damage and disrepair, because until the late 1700’s there was no one to do it or anything else…😮
