The school put brand new batteries in this bus right before they retired it! The battery tray is already stuck, so if it does go dead I'm screwed. I have noticed it does have one shorted circuit that stays on even when the keys are out, I tried chasing it back but to no avail.
@ThatOneLT1 I'm actually surprised my batteries ran dead. The thing's only a year old and I left it running pretty much all day one day due to how cold it was.
@@BusMaster99 It doesn't take much to run a group of batteries dead Freightliner's wonderful multiplex system loves to act up every once in a while which doesn't help Hopefully they install a battery shutoff switch on your buses
Sounds great
I love these c2’s they are great buses. I love the sound of the engine.
Do you do driving videos of this bus?
I don’t have it on the road yet but I’d love to do some driving videos of it someday on the road
@ that sounds great!
First, very nice startup!
Nice… how long has it been sitting?
When I recorded this it had been sitting overnight
I had it running the previous day
This bus looks great and sounds great too, how many miles are on this bus?
Only 96k
@ThatOneLT1 not bad, I heard on your last video of the cold starts that this bus does frequent regens
It does frequent passive regens which is normal for this generation of Cummins
@ThatOneLT1 gotcha, she's a good looking bus
101 seems like it doesn't have an issue with cold weather
unlike 46..
True
101 is just an incredible bus
Never let me down once
It’s such a privilege to have saved it from going to the junk yard
that's good to hear
Just like that would you like to buy a flat nose blue Bird ? Like a tc1-2-3000
?
Or t3fe?
I think i should be amazing ! But it is your Chanel :)
I’ve been looking into quite a few possible buses
But yes I found a great shape TC2000 that is one of the top of my list
@ oh great ! Impatient to see that one video :D
Meanwhile the batteries died on my 2024 Freightliner S2C 3 days ago. Deader than a doornail, wouldn't start.

@@ThatOneLT1 The shop is planning to install one. That's why my bus is still sitting in the shop at this very moment.
