They don't just pull these all of a sudden and caught the translator off guard. Most of the thing they does is STAGED and they improvise only with the audience. Either way, the translator is translaring for Family Guy, a comedy. That would be the expectation. How would it be "professional" as you say if you can't curtail to the tone/atmosphere of the material being translated?

Any deaf people in the audience probably also have a fairly decent sense of humor. It's kind of like when they had Andrea Fay Friedman make a down syndrome joke (she herself has down syndrome). You can't speak for a whole group of people, saying they obs must be offended by this.
I kind of hoped Mila would say something or answer something substantial since she hasn't been on the panel in a while, but it didn't happen. I guess because she's the only one who's not a comedian and doesn't do funny voices and Meg has one of the smallest roles in show excluding the few episodes about her.
