    If your thinking of coming to Prime Inc or want to get your CDL license. I honestly believe Prime is a solid company to start your trucking journey. Make sure when you fill out the online application @ www.primeinc.com put my driver code STREXA on page 2 of the application when it ask who referred you. Thanks for watching my video 🙂🤙💯

    I ran tanks for 15 years and that included food grade, oil field and chemical and in my entire time doing that, I’ve never seen anything as bad as what you showed. Most of what I saw would be considered an immediate out of service. At the very most if all of my fittings combined leaked enough to fill a coffee mug there was a problem that needed fixing.

  • @VanishingPoint
    @VanishingPoint ปีที่แล้ว +3

    The bands that you use to secure fittings onto the hose after you cut them use them as a shim between your cam ear and your fitting and it will tighten hose to keep them spills from happening.

    Flatbed is probably more dirty. We climb up on top of the load, unroll filthy grimy tarps. Flatbed guys do make more money than tanker though.

      YTD is currently averaging almost $2100 a week after all my expenses like truck payment, permits, fees from prime, maintenance on my truck etc... I average about 1850 miles a week.. hope this helps. Everyone is different, where you live, your dispatcher, how hard you run, if you have a lot of issues with your truck or trailer etc...

    I'm watching this video and just got to the part where it shows the leaking and I have to comment...hole e crap.... I just started bulk food grade liquid tanker hauling. I'm on my fourth trip solo. Training consisted of five trips with another driver and that's it he said I could go by myself.. personally I think that's a little scant. Anyways.... That leaking is shocking... If that happened at this company there is absolutely positively no way in hell I would continue unloading it. In fact I think the company Im with would give me major shit if I tried unloading that. Does the receiver not freak out? I'm currently running local in Canada but will soon be doing cross border, I hope I don't have to deal with shit like this. Hopefully this video shames your company enough to fix their shit

    Hey can you explain to me what’s the difference between leasing a truck
    And lease purchase a truck

    • @truckingwithrex
      @truckingwithrex  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Leasing is basically your renting a Semi-Truck to make money (I'm in a walk away lease meaning technically if i wanted to turn in my truck today i could with no penalty) lease purchase you'll have to put down 14K and truck payments between 900-1000$ per week and you'll have it paid off in 3yrs.

    • @truckingwithrex
      @truckingwithrex  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@Handlegrip for every dispatched mile prime takes 1c per mile for your tire fund and 1-5c per dispatched mile for maintenance repairs which they keep when you walk away. In 7 months I've built up 7K in both tire and maintenance fund. If i walk away prime keeps it, if i finish a 4 year lease prime inc gives you a lease completion bonus. I've seen another driver complete a 4yr lease and he got a 28K check when he returned his truck.
