    This car is absolutely stunning. The best part about the LS is that it’s still made in Tahara, Japan. The same factory that built the 1990 Lexus LS 400 and the 90’s Corolla. It won’t be a surprise if the LS outsells the S Class, A8, and the 7 Series combined.

      don’t get me wrong the LS is a great car but no way it will outsell its German competitors, they just don’t appeal to as many people

    • @djl_cyber_yt
      @djl_cyber_yt 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@brandonczw Yes, because there’s many factors that contribute to your statement. For one, the marketing campaign for the LS is not as huge compared to the German flagship models. Another thing is that many people think that Lexus is boring even if the LS was in an advertisement that somehow reached a higher amount of impressions. More specifically, the snobs who look at how many tech features a luxury car has.

      @@brandonczw the fact that we have to accept is German cars will never be as durable as Japanese cars. Lexus cars can last with over 300k miles,even though german cars will last at 150-200k miles.

      @@RAiNfORAiNbOW Usually German cars have more features that are both useful and an emphasis to what makes their vehicles a status symbol. Meanwhile Lexus has features that are both useful, and simple enough for the driver.

    Since 1989, imagine all the engineering, money, time and talent that went into establishing the Lexus brand with the LS as its flagship sedan. Seems to me that Lexus lost some its stature with the lost of the V8 engine. It wouldn't be such a blow if the magnificent Lexus V8 was completely gone, but to only offer it in the LC coupe and deny it for the LS sedan is a bad move. The Lexus that taught Mercedes a lesson in luxury has been hobbled with a V6. Remember, Lexus customers can buy V12 power if they want it. Excellent video!

      No auto company would invest 1989 money in a brand today. Though Genesis is getting results with less investment.

    Stunning car! The high quality materials inside seems to be superb. One of the biggest downside, is the upper dashboard screen for the infotainment system. Doesn’t look cohesive with the interior design 👎. Lexus should keep it only for entry level models, not for their flagship.

      I mean yes and then no, Lexus IS cheaper then it’s competition, the starting price of an S class is $109,000 while the Lexus IS $80,000. But you can’t beat the luxurious S class. I’ll still take the Lexus, I’ll spend more time on the road then the shop 😌

      @@yooalex Consumer Reports give the 2018+ a 46 out of 100 and last place in the segment. Predicated reliability is 2 out of 5 only because they seldom give out 1 out of 5 and never a 0 out of 5. Owelnership satisfaction is lowest at 56% would buy again.
      You should pass on this unless leased andnjnder warranty or look at an older LS with V8.
