It is better not to refer to any date because it is confusing does not coincide with the actual one.
You can title "celebrities who died last week" instead.
They do this every day as you noticed, no matter how much you tell them, it's still going to happen. Think what they are saying, here is today's list of famous celebrities who died.

Where is the presenter, Yammy from? I'm wanting to understand why she mispronounces nearly everyone's names and/or most common words.. The 'h' in Thomas AND Thai is silent. The 't' in et is silent. In any event, her acknowledgement of these various individuals is appreciated.
