- 7 Single Malt Scotches Under $70!
Single Malt Scotches can be super expensive, but they don't need to be. Here are 7 great ones that won't break the bank.
Arran 10 Year
Bruichladdich The Classic Laddie
Aberlour 12
The Glenrothes 12
Aberfeldy 12
Glendronach 12
Highland Park 12 Viking Honor

Im a scotch and Irish whiskey newb. I'm gonna have to give some of these a try after I had Jameson black barrel that you recommended
Enjoy the journey! Thanks for watching.
Definitely recommend the Aberlour. Great bottle for the price. I was able to get one in the Chicago area for $53.
Great stuff man, been watching you and Brewzle for a while now and I'm wondering if you could give an honest reveiw on J&B rare?it's a classic for sure🍷
I'll put it on the list. J&B is a classic for sure. I imagine it's hard to produce anything decent for such a low price! I think the biggest problem for it is the other offerings out there. Specifically, if you go up just a little ($5-$8 here) you hit better Scotches. Thanks for watching!! 👍
@@whiskeybonded of course, keep up the great work!
I can get Glendronach 15 for around 70 bucks in the UK which IMO is an absolute winner
Glendronach is a very good Scotch... Agreed.
The should have included a Macallan. 🤔 Oh well. I don't think that's a secret.
What the hell is that Aberfeldy box/packaging ?! 😄
But did you see the price?! 🤔👍
Yeah if they can put decent whiskey in the bottle and also have that packaging all while being 32 bucks, no one else has any excuse 😂
@@AudibleVisibIe well said! 👍🥃
@@whiskeybonded yeah, well my surprise was seeing a different packaging from the tin I normally see Aberfeldy 12 in that’s all!
Paid $180 for the Signet and that was too much, good yes but not that good. Scotch pricing is skyrocketing here lately and the quality has gone down for a lot of distillers.
Have you seen how much Signet is now? It's over $250 in most places! Thanks for commenting!
@@whiskeybonded yeah, my local has it for $279.99. Hard pass. I really have found myself enjoying the Dalmore 12 Sherry Cask Select at $79.99 and it’s a pretty big difference from their regular 12 year.
@@davidschweibold256 Dalmore is a winner in my book and they've managed to stay pretty reasonably priced. I love the 15. Good call! 👍
How come there’s no peated whisky on this list?
I love peated Scotch, but it's kind of a separate subject. Whisky beginners can be pretty off put by peat.
Lol I understand.
There are some mildly peated whisky’s that can be introduced early on like HP 12 or Talisker 10. My first attempt at peated was Lagavulin and I was not a fan, then I tried Talisker and loved it and the rest is history. Now I pretty much only drink peated.
@@sinemetu1040 They definitely grow on you! I think the love of peat comes later in whisky appreciation. I'm with you... I love them now.
we gotta brush up on that pronunciation haha
I was born in WA, Elementary in TX, Middle School on KY and I live in CA...its amazing that it's not worse. 🤔
@@whiskeybonded fair that, no offense meant! where in WA if I may?
@@GrizzlyPanda347 no offense taken. Spokane. 👍
@@whiskeybonded oh that's where I'm at, maybe youtube knows..
@@GrizzlyPanda347 oh, TH-cam knows... TH-cam always knows. Thanks for commenting! 👍🥃
