I personally like the slow burn that they are doing with Claire and Melendez. I like when couples take their time getting together. 💁
I like it too, specially these two that have their own baggage and troubles with relationships, but please give us hope at least that such thing is possible

This is the best relationship that came out of this entire show tbh. It was beautifully developed and written so far. They just need to admit how they feel for one another and just get together already. The chemistry is legit lightning in a bottle. The fact that the writers ever thought it was a good idea to put Melendez with Lim is beyond me. Team Melendaire ALL THE WAY!!!

Because that was more of a "I don't know, I guess" head shake. Not a firm "no". She's just listening to his words but she doesn't believe it in that moment. Lots of people do that when they're confused about something.

This relationship is end game. The writers did an amazing job with them. From scene 1 where Melendez talks down at Claire to the last scene when he says "I Love You Too", the writers gave us a beautiful love story with multiple dynamics. Started with them as senior junior, went to Melendez sacking her from his team to taking her back to recognising her potential to Claire becoming his favourite to developing feelings for her and finally them confessing love. You took us on a journey with them and thank you for it. I have now made peace that Neil died and Claire was left alone. I think I would have been more devastated if they had broken up later on stupid reasons. I still re-watch episodes across first 3 seasons only for these two. They make magic together. Just look at their chemistry. And no Limlendez, ONLY MELENDAIRE. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Had I known if this wud happen, i probably wudnt have watched in the first place. It really took me time to get over Neil's death. It was just soo not required. And for me the season ended there. It was heart breaking

That declaration of Claire saying she’s afraid of being with someone she cares about, gives a clue about what’s going to happen with Neil.
I think she won’t do/tell anything to him because she’s afraid he’ll say no or lose their friendship.
So we’ll have to wait until next season or more to see some real #melendaire. Hope I’m wrong.
They'll probably have a major melendaire cliffhanger in this season's finale.

I don't want them ending on a cliffhanger at all then we have to wait for the end of September to see what happens. Nope. I'd rather they start in season 4 so we can see their whole relationship start then. All at once.

I am rooting for Melendaire to be endgame!...but in due time. Not too soon!
I don't think either one of them is in the right headspace to give a proper romantic relationship all that it deserves.
At this point, I see it as, Neil is fresh out of a relationship with Lim (and he's dealing with his feelings about that) and Claire is still greiving her mom and working on some issues about her past that have come to a head.
I say keep these two as friends for now, let their friendship steadily grow as they work on becoming better version of themselves, and give them more time to really fall in love.

Like I have been shipping these two from s1 but at the same time seeing their friendship evolve over the course of this series I just don’t know what to think because I also love the dynamics of them being strictly platonic and proving that men and women can actually be friends rather than jumping straight into a serious relationship. Claire needs his friendship now more than ever and I feel like if they got together now she would only sabotage it and ruin the endgame plans I have on my head. It’s just so hard to pick a direction for these two.

Soooo mad they cut the Melendaire scene that they had been teasing us with since last week. (I personally saw the photos way before that) I (and many others) were very excited for that! Waiting for it! Discussing it, wanting to know what they were discussing. And whoever directed it had to take it out! Really?? And now we have to wait for the DVD release just to see it! Ughh. Ridiculous. The network should release it early!

My impression is that Neil is falling for Claire and *because of that* he thinks that the best thing for her is to be with someone who seems to make her happy. That-is-true-love (!) and i think Neil's not really sure he could be the one for Claire, if she lights up whenever this Dash shows up.
Now Claire is the one who has to find out whether he really likes Dash or not. Let's all hope she realizes asap that Neil is the one she wants to be with 💕💕💕

My issue is, why weren't we shown the scene that was promoted, the one that showed Neil and Claire on the outside of St Bonaventure smiling at each other?, don't show us a melendaire promotional pic that you know never made it into the episode that's not nice, and where was the scene that the synopsis talked about, "they address their feelings for each other as colleagues and friends", where? When did that happen?, I didn't see that dicussion!!!
I think they cut the scene at the last minute. With everything the director put in this episode (and there was a lot) I don't think he could've fit the scene in. But ughhhh!! I wanted to know what they were discussing because they looked so flirty in that scene outside the hospital. Smh.
And you're so right about the description. I was looking forward to that too. In this locker scene, I saw Melendez being more cautioned than Claire. I think Melendez is NOW aware of his feelings. Claire needs to catch up. She's not there yet.

They know they like each other. Otherwise they would not have had a pretend argument to throw people off of them having out together. Let’s get real they like each other but they also work together in a superior/inferior role no less.
Throw people off? No. They "argued" to throw Morgan off. Because she was the one that complained. And as of this episode, Melendez is now aware of his feelings. Claire is not. Not yet.
I like them together, but it would be nice to see a platonic relationship continue. Romance is very short lived in this show.

I wouldn't say short lived. They tortured us with Melendez and Lim for a season and a half. Ugh. That was long enough. They flirted at the end of season one, got together in the first half of season two and just broke up in season three....straight torture. And Glassman married Debbie. 🤷🏽♀️

What??? Kayla didn't die at St. Bonaventure hospital. Claire and Melendez cared for her while she was a patient there and she lived for 6 more months because of the treatment they provided. 😂😂😂 Idk where you got that she died in their hospital.

Boy talk about disappointment. First Shaun and Lea and now Melendez and Claire. Geez I had an awful day and hoping for some good news from the Good Doctor and got nothing. The opposite of an uplifting episode.
It would be way more refreshing if they managed to stay friends without dramas, sexual tensions and so on, just to prove that a man and a woman can actually be fully satisfied with a simple and genuine friendship.

In the next episode "Heartbreak" Claire's therapist is in it. I really hope we see Claire talking to her therapist about these "guy problems" she's having because I'd like her therapist to tell her that she may have feelings for Melendez. Or possibly in that session she realizes it on her OWN, and her therapist tells her that maybe she should talk to him about it. Either way, I just want us to see Claire mention Melendez in her therapy session. Lol
Also, after Heartbreak, we're going to have a little break before the finale, so they better make the next episode really good with Melendaire scenes to keep us occupied until the two part season finale airs. Ugh..hate breaks.

I'm getting tired of this storyline. Get together or lets move on to something new. Writers who drag storylines irritates me.
It's called a "slowburn" and it's not being dragged when their friendship literally just started this season. Not too long ago in fact. You also have to consider their mindsets right now. Claire needed Melendez as her friend when her mom died. Melendez got dumped by Lim. Neither of them were ready to jump into a relationship. There's no need to rush things. If they did it would've ruined everything. Their arc to romance is exactly where it needs to be.
We get the slow burn but same storyline for 3 season is really tiring. It causes expectations which may never be met.

So I fail to see your view on "same storyline for three seasons" because they weren't friends in season 1 or in season 2. And Melendez was with Jessica in season 1 and Lim in season 2 and half of 3. Claire was fooling around with Kalu and hasn't had an actual relationship in this entire series, Sooo....??? Where is this same storyline for 3 seasons you speak of?? Fans wanting them to be a couple for 3 years is different than what's been presented on screen for 3 years.
