The song is about her grandpa (Meri's husband) who passed in 2018, but dedicated to all people who are missing loved ones they have lost. It is soulful, beautiful, heart-tugging. Great young voices out there, Connie Jackie, Diana, Grace, etc, but they are "Cookie Cutter" voices, when compared to Angelina. her voice has magic in it. I listen to the others only when they pop up on U Tube. I constantly hunt for Angelina's songs. I have her album, play it constantly, I cannot get enough of that "SMOKY" voice. She has that once in a lifetime voice superstar singers like Taylor Swift wish they had.

Since I joined an Angelina Fan Club on Facebook last February I get a daily dose of Angelina music by watching reaction videos on YT or just pulling up one of her performances from my account playlist. I have come to understand something in this process. Although she just turned 14 in January Angelina gives more than her heart and soul in each and every song cover and her originals that she offers up. It's as though she fully understands the absolute meaning of the lyrics in the song she sings, sorrow from her own personal sorrow and happiness from her devoted and protective immediate family. She also understands the joy that she has inspired in her many fans through the world and that keeping her commitment to the shoeless girl she met when she was six is a personal standard that she will not waver from. This sort of generosity and humility is not only rare in children of her same age but rare in many adults of all ages. Throughout the course of time the Creator of All Things gives humankind a gift to remind us of the Grace and Passion of the Heavenly Hosts. And we are in awe and cherish that Deliverance.
One can practice till the cows come home. But, when you have a God given talent like she does, there is no amount of practice can get you to her level. And to think she hasn't even reached her full potential.

She has what we call "a signature sound". A very finely tuned tremolo on the ending notes and that beautiful smokey contralto voice. Beautiful!

Do you think the video is about her trip to Vegas because Vegas is the symbol is falsity, of fake Statues of Liberty, sphinxes, and all that stuff? I love that first line. And if there is anything cuter than Angelina, it's her little sister posing for a shot in front of the limo (and Angelina ducking out of the way like a good big sister).
Soon she wont be able to get out of her car without the press all over her. Which is at the same time wonderful and sad.
She is a wonderful talent. She can express things that I hope she hasn't experienced. Another artist I like but haven't seen on your channel is Darius Rucker. Sorry I don’t know if I’m the only one but I don’t get how a good many people think that she is the greatest singer of all time is beyond me...sure she has a nice voice but I wouldn’t go as far and put her in the upper echelon of the greatest vocalist...if fact with this particular song she reminds me of Norah Jones...but hey that’s me.
oneafter909 Well, put it this way. Do you think Norah Jones, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin aso sounded this good at 12? The same can be said of all other «greatest» singers in the world. Seeing it in that perspective, Angelina surely is way up there, and she is still only 14.
Angelina Covers over 75 of all the Greatest Vocal masters of the century totally widely different Artists Re-covered over 130 of their most Iconic Songs from any Era many different Styles and most all Genres and like in this case she totally owns them, I mean she raps them up puts them in her pocket and goes Home ~ OWNS! them ~ None of those Masters she covers would have been able to do a tiny fraction of what she does or any other Artist on the planet currently for that matter ...Well that is what all the hype is about and the Soul she puts into every performance is the main reason we always come back for more and the reason I became her Fan/Friend... I hear you and respect your opinion but tell me of another singer who. six years from her first public appearance has mastered as many musical genres, including Blues, Country, Disco, Jazz,Pop, R&B and Soul, EDM and Rock and covered songs first performed by many famous singers,like Adele, Whitney Houston, Nancy and Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Lana del Ray, Gloria Gaynor, Elvis Presley, Louis Armstrong and many others.
Very easy. I can say without hesitation she is the best for me. I listen to her every day with no pause for more than 6 months already. The greatest singers you have mentioned can't be listened by me for more than 2 weeks maximum. Yes, she is the greatest for me all day any day. Very easy.
