american here. i like how comfy shows like this feel. very no-frills; not that competitive. just some folks doing smart things. while there was a US pilot for this show, the networks here would definitely want there to be some sort of edge to keep viewers hooked… except in this case, it'd immensely mess up the vibe of the format. 11 minutes into the episode, you're doing great so far!
Also an american, I suck at the math portion, I ace the word portion. I find the show enjoyable as hell, but I got to say a show about math would not work in the states. Some would love it, but most wouldn't. It just would not have the viewership which is a shame. I watch this on youtube and try to improve my math skills. I stand in awe watching Rachel Riley work.
Clearly Suzy - Every now and then, there comes a trivial numbers game where rachel will be limited to a tie; but going for maximum letters is never trivial, hence: advantage Suzy
853 is equal to 100 x 6 = 600 & 5 x 50 = 250 & 75 / 25 = 3 & 600 + 250 + 3 = 853; i found that practically immediately oops continuing the video that solutions was presented 😅; i were to quick

@@captaincavemonkey i like the words better than the math tbh
loved the Ill Communication reference
Who would win if Rachel and Susie went head to head? Would pay good money.
In the maths round, there is only one winner. In the letter round, both teams can get points. I think this gives Rachel the advantage.
@@Srw-em6iq Have to agree.
And.... everybody misses the point. 🤣🙄

We. We would win. 😂
589:
25 x 3 = 75
75 + 75 = 150
150 x 4 = 600
9 + 2 = 11
600 - 11 = 589
This Woman is my number!!❤
He said you were twelve! Audacious!

7:40 Rachel knows they are talking about her.
I hope Rachael googled "How a Hippo shits" before she chose hippo.
I got the conundrum. 😊

454:
7 + 2 = 9
9 x 50 = 450
100/25 = 4
450 + 4 = 454

There's Goddess Taweret. ❤

Explain to me again why I can’t have the points for homage?
Did Rachel forget about being a dog at the soccer pitch?
Did Rachel forget about being a dog 🐕 at the soccer pitch
did he call rachel tiger AND darling in the first two minutes? ...umm...
he clearly explained why he called her tiger….
454=(7+2)×50+100/25

Get a shirt and tie Murray he looks to casual for countdown 👉
What have they done? Where is Jimmy?
this is the original daytime show. Jimmy hosts the late night comedy version.
@@hannahpreece3651I'd rather watch the daytime countdown.
LOL
Jimmy was busy doing his taxes.
@@GustavoFernandesKing No he wasn't. jimmy doesn't do taxes.
454 wasn't hard
75-25=50, 3x4=12, 50x12=600, 9+2=11, 600-11=589
for 956 i got 7 x 7 = 49 - 25 = 24 - 5 = 19 x 50 = 950 + 6 = 956
you could've just added 7+7+5
9-2=7 7x75=525 4 to 3rd power = 64 525 +64=589
589=9×75-4×(25-3)+2
