This video is even older then 2010 I believe. I remember watching this as early as 2008, as a matter of fact It is the first video I ever watched on TH-cam… absolutely insane. Currently 23… this dude made me pick up a guitar
I watched in mid 2007. It was full of "why's there no solo" comments from kids who didn't know how to read a video description. The old uploader got sick of that, so he changed the description to "READ THIS YOU DUMBASS!!!" and the comments still kept coming in. (This was before pinned comments were a thing.)
@@ldaf7492 Oh, wow, I didn't explain that. Well, the description just explained that Buckethead wasn't performing the solo in that live version. I don't remember seeing a live version with the solo until at least 2009, but it may have been 2010.
I love the people commenting how wild and crazy the drummer is. Yes. Yes, clearly, the DRUMMER is the oddest thing on the stage. I envy you, darlings. You see things in life that I don't. That's beautiful.
He should do the ‘Narrative’ LIVE for (post office buddy) hilarious. (A guy works at post office, he see’s girl, calls her leaves messages on her machine) Creep. Pissed off she don’t answer. Buckethead should make more. Peep Tom. Lmao. GET OUT CREEP
Same dude, I grew up with my friends playing Jordan on Guitar Hero and I was like "Man I wanna learn that on the real thing." That was like 15 years ago now. Still shreds.
@@purge_them_all There were some notes out of key, so yeah most likely mistakes. And yes, he does improvise a lot which I find amazing since you are 100% right, playing exact same stuff gets dull
goes threw KFC drive thru : I'd like 6 buckets of chicken " uh extra crispy " that is all, goes home puts all the chicken in fridge, cleans out the buckets but leaves 1 so he can have the KFC scent :)
It's called a killswitch, no strumming is needed with his technique + the crazy dist (tapping and hammering on is enough), the killswitch only creates that cool sound by basicly muting and unmuting the sound with the press and release of the button. Tom Morello also does crazy stuff with a killswitch

Jordan into Post Office Buddy is still to this day one of the smoothest live transitions ive ever heard
Amen ❤🤟
not a very good introduction. buckethead is a genius
Seriously.
The older I get, the more normal Buckethead becomes.
Still watching this, 10 years later. LEGEND
Same! This is a great video!
Wow, Phil Anselmo as a drummer? Hidden talent
Isn’t
@@massimoboffi7867 r/whooosh
Hahaha holy crap it does look like Phil if he added a few pounds 😂
Been loving this video for over a decade - still so amazing.
aaaaahhhh!!!!! 02:56... la energy ... ajajajajaja
The crazy weird drummer is the reason why i come back to this video every now and then 😂 his scream before going nuts lives rent free in my head

Love this version of Jordan so much .
It’s jordan then transitions into post office buddy
el mejor
Dont know why... But is it weird i like this version of post office buddy than the original recording. (Yes im aware jordan is in the mix as well.)
This is actually POST OFFICE BUDDY
It's both
@@alexsandersousa9901 yes aka a medley
i used to watch this like everyday in 2006-2007 insane to see it again now
I was 9 when i saw this for the first time and im 20 now and this feels so right 😂
2:15 I don't know why but I felt I could smell a guitar center when I heard this part.
anyone have the full concerto?
used to watch this in FLV Player back in 2005-2006
This guy is great! And Buckethead is also not bad! :)
Bucket head has an amazing voice for his song it is just magnificent
why didn't he play the left handed dissonant tapping part from the studio cut?
I couldn't do it at this time
Love seeing so much love for Pinch Face (the drummer)
If you look up Mad Man Drummer in the Dictionary it's a picture of that guy.
Was anyone else waiting the whole time for the songs crazy ass solo..... that never happened?
The solo was made for the guitar hero 2 game so any performance before that game didn’t have it
Twisty damn fr? crazy
GH2 solo aside, it's like this man is a living, never ending set of solos
Best version of the song ever played
SOMEONE PLEEEEEASE TELL ME WHAT THE SONG IS CALLED AT 2:14
Post Office Buddy
bordertown thank you soooooooooooo much I love you
Jordan
Wooow this guy still impresses me after all these years.
Same dude, I grew up with my friends playing Jordan on Guitar Hero and I was like "Man I wanna learn that on the real thing." That was like 15 years ago now. Still shreds.
Reminds me of Jim Root
I do not hear any mistakes...
Is it just me or does his strap grow and shrink?
Buckethead is Buckethead, but really all hype to the drummer!
This should be a Streets of Rage boss theme
I remember watching this video when I didn’t even play music myself. Legendary video for me! :)
esperaba la versión del gh2
Roberto Lopez creo que esta version fue antes de ser creada la del GH, aunque por ahi hay unas donde si toca la del gh
malher inca peche parece lo más razonable
Drummer is so high 😀
This isn't Playback... the guitar have some little Mistakes ...
he's playing live in what looks like a bar, suppose he was kinda drunk ?
@@sigma_hellhound6962 every guitarist makes mistakes. Makes the playing human
Technically, they aren't mistakes, it's called improvisations. Playing the same exact stuff over and over gets dull, don't you think?
@@purge_them_all There were some notes out of key, so yeah most likely mistakes. And yes, he does improvise a lot which I find amazing since you are 100% right, playing exact same stuff gets dull
2:14 lol what's the drummer doing
Brian Carrol Rocks the House 🤘
Stop calling him like that as if you were his intimate. Youve never seen his face.
Who? I only see Buckethead
Been listening to this video for years, the drummer is also out of this fucking world
i wonder if KFC gives him the bucket ?
KFC actually doesn't like Buckethead...
goes threw KFC drive thru : I'd like 6 buckets of chicken " uh extra crispy " that is all, goes home puts all the chicken in fridge, cleans out the buckets but leaves 1 so he can have the KFC scent :)
I know this song from Gutair hero 2, such a good song
drummers a geezer
Played a guitar for 2 mins and 11 seconds. Never strummed.
After 11 years this only has just over 200k views. How sad is that...?
Der Drummer ist Freestyle technisch echt gut drauf
th-cam.com/video/RZXPaW_-DjI/w-d-xo.html the "holy shit let's go" MTV editing still kills me.
Come on with the fuckin' boxes already.
Awesome...
Such a talented man ❤ keep rocking baby
It's like The Prodigy in guitar form.
This song speed up.. Yeah realy meen..
How does this only have 127k views...
OH LORD
This guy is no slouch on guitar.
Description: "I did not film this!!!!!!!!!"
what he means is "I stole this video from youtube user 'fidiricuo'."
I have quoted Hunter S. Thompson and Hemmingway many times, does that make me thief?
T C I put a movie on youtube, does that count as stealing?
This is the best version he ever played
King of Riffs
noticed he wasn't strumming what was he hitting in the intro
A kill switch.
But how does he strum with a freaking button he’s a legend
It's called a killswitch, no strumming is needed with his technique + the crazy dist (tapping and hammering on is enough), the killswitch only creates that cool sound by basicly muting and unmuting the sound with the press and release of the button.
