Amós takes a couple practice shots before heading out for the day with his Bushcraft Bow. He was close last time, but this time his aim is true! Greg starts working on his bow drill, but spends most of the day fishing at a remote island and from his kayak. By sundown, BOTH have achieved their goals and they sit around the fire for an EPIC feast!

Hiking and hunting the hills and volcanoes of Central America in the 80’s and 90’s gave Amós Rodriguez a foundation for his ancestral skills life’s practice. Growing up in the context of the U.S. financed civil war in El Salvador increased his urban and wilderness survival and awareness skills; both of which are essential for striving in our modern society.
During the post-war period, Amós assisted rural communities devastated by the violence. These experiences increased his humanism and highlighted the need to be an advocate for secured and regenerative communities.
Amós has been perfecting his craft as a hunter and primitive skills practitioner over the years. He is a humanist, an artist, and a guide. His life intention is to build a better future for the next seven generations.

Didn’t mention the conversation about giving the bow to Gregg as a show of appreciation. This episode was a culmination of all the hard work put into this challenge. Such a good feeling to see Greg finally get a fish. Also Amos that bow is badass!!! Your level of excitement when you caught that grouse brought a smile to my face, definitely looking forward to another 30 day challenge from you guys in the future I don’t care if it’s a year from now I look forward to each and every episode.

I love Greg’s channel whoever on this survival challenge it was a tad dreary on Greg’s at the beginning but so glad it both turned out what we all expected with you bunch of legends .
So glad that you got your bird and Greg got his fish. It’s been lean pickings more than 1/2 of this challenge so it was great to see. Only way it would have been better is if Mother Nature would have given you 2 birds.

There is nothing like it, I've built my own bow from a birch tree I cut down and used it to take down a black bear... There is no better sense of accomplishment. Excellent job and excellent video. I really enjoyed it. Thank you.
