- Strong wind gusts up to 130km/h howling through the forest and swaying trees. It was scary being in a forest with such a strong wind and trees moving so much.

Ken Harrington It’s beautiful isn’t it? I’m fro. An island called Alderney, in the Channel Island, tiny, pristine, quite often windy like this, beautiful hot summers and windy winters, it really is absolute lovely- heaven ❤️🦋🙏

I could imagine it's alittle cool, but you can also feel the warmth of the sun at the same time. ( my favorite sensation) Laying there on a soft sleeping bag, and another light weight one to put over if needed. And that it, fall asleep...no bugs...or snakes...or people. I really do love the sound you've captured. It's swishy.... I've been here before. 😏 I love the angle you presented, looking up at the beautiful sky, like you are " right there" Excellence. 👌💞

When I lived in a 2nd floor apartment , on really windy nights I would open a window just enough to make the howling/whistlingngsound ! It was wonderful. Now people make all these fantastic videos

This can be nice during the day too, very low in the background, especially on days that are just cold, damp and grey and bleh. It makes it sound stormier outside and somehow nicer just staying in messing around the house on bad weather projects... just watch out for naps lol

@@goldiffworks I didn't know I loved hurricanes so much until I was right in the middle of Katrina. Being _in_ the extreme weather is even _more_ relaxing. It takes little intelligence to keep yourself safe, so implying it is careless would be lost on me.

I’m old and hard of hearing. Wish I could get a louder version of it, Guess Ill have to invest in a pair of speakers. Ear things just wont stay in overnight. My cats love it, too. Makes them even more cuddly.
This easily be Wisconsin late March or early April. I love a brisk cold wind without having to worry about alot of snow on the roads.

Very Very Relaxing
There are times when I'm so relaxed, that not only do I hear the wind. A part of my self can hear voices in the distance within yet apart from the wind. SPIRITS, PERHAPS? ESPECIALLY WHEN WALKING IN THE WIND.

This is a really good one. Beautiful sky and sun. The wind blowing the grasses on the ground is glorious. Doesn't look much like a forest. The "trees" are skinny and not very tall. Where was this filmed?

This one is my favorite, I love hearing the wind blow through trees.
Many years ago a friend and I were on a late elk hunt in a wilderness area in the Montanan Rockies. It was snowing and we started up this mountain, about halfway up we came upon an old growth forest, covered in a chartreuse green alpine moss and in the center it wasn’t snowing, there were huge piles of dry brown saw grass and this is close to the way the sky looked and the wind sounded. We couldn’t figure this spot out! So we sat in the saw grass to eat and rest up for the rest of the afternoon. It was dusk when I woke up and laid back down sleeping there until dawn, it sounded just like this. My friend is in his late eighties now and I’m not far behind, but if I could find it again, it would be a perfect place to await the resurrection. Thank you for this video. Reminds me of a place I hike/camp in N-E Mn near lake superior bluffs in late summer early fall when the dew point drops but the leaves haven't changed quite yet . perfect get away from the craziness of the cities .

i was once on a mountain camping in 80mph wind. I thought i was going to fly away .
I once had to sleep on a camping site during a storm at the North Sea (130 Km/h wind speed). Some caravans actually flew away, but not my tiny tent.
