Hi Derrek. Sure wish you had a satellite office here in Vancouver. I just placed an order for a Murphy Bed with two towers (long hanging/adjustable shelves on top; two drawers and a slide out tray). Do you use Murphy system? Also, what type and height of mattress do you find most popular? I’m going to be excited to have a nicer guest room that allows me more use of the space when I don’t have guests. 😃

Hey Derrek, nice system, we use the pozzoli bed systems here, not sure if you can get them in the US.

We have tried several. I have over 1,000 of this type installed. It’s been very reliable, easy to assemble and is priced right. I’ve tried a couple but the price is as much as 4X cost for mechanism, requires goofy cabinets or just doesn’t look right. When we build panel in the shop it takes about 45 minutes and we would install this bed at customers house in an hour.

my god that took a long time... isn't there a way to speed it up with some pre-assembly to pre thread screws?

We pre drill all the holes for mechanism and cabinets. We do it with the door panels as the precision of the holes in the frame has to much variation for it to work. Additionally most of our doors are not the slab like this but are buy out from other companies and we don’t want to put them on CNC for that. It needs a lot of screws as the panel can have over 500lbs of people on it. When we bed panel in shop it goes much faster. We built this one onsite as we had a very tight stairway to go up.
