Great job, very clear. Many thanks
The pole that holds that screen is engineered with a 2 degree angle that leans away from the screen to compensate for the sag. Notice how you had all your shims to the right side lag bolts, this is because you leveled it and shouldn't have. You poured your concrete footing perfect by the looks of it, so no shims were needed. By leveling it made the awning sag. Great video, hope my two cents helps a bit.
Is there an adjustment if the SAG continues or is it all about shimming?
@@brucecooley3353 Not really. It's a solid welded pole, so shimming more is what will work the best.
@@brucecooley3353 Sorry, forgot about how you had it setup. if you remove your shims and it's off level away from the screen then you won't need any shims, which I think is the way you shimmed it in the video. And even if it's off slightly more than 2 degrees, you should still be fine. Hope this helps.
Should have installed the cement part 1st. So that it won't sag, or lower the pullout an inch or 2. Cool product thought 👍
Great video. I’m no handy man but I took a crack at it. I found the instructions were like ikea not helpful. I installed mine and screwed up the anchor in the asphalt. Guess I’ll pour concrete like you did. Cheers
I got to install one of these being that every time I get into my hot tub naked my neighbor & his wife seem to be out on their back deck looking in my direction.
you have the best video on these. Can you mount the mounting bracket at any height as long as the cartridge runs a long it? Or is there a set area on the cartridge that the mounting bracket has to match to.
Any height works, so you are flexible as to how high and low you want / need to mount them.
