Kana wanted to let Angele be safe because it's Angele's very first bad performance. Because Kana is a lip sync assassin, she didn't want to rob Angele as Angele has had several good performances, while Kana has landed in the bottom many times. So the judges said that it's Kana's moment to redeem herself since she's just been back and this is a competition after all. Then they did the lip sync equally well and they did this in a friendly manner, like "let's do this together" rather than "this is a competition, let's fight for our own place." This touched the judges' hearts. Therefore, they both stayed.
It's so nice seeing a lip-sync where the contestants work together to make a great lip-sync instead of the same lip-syncs where the queens try and outshine the other queen. This was amazing!
If you remember Art Arya's interview with James St. James at Wowpresents, Art said that in season 2, she wanted to cast more dramatic/bitchier girls to create more drama. It turns out that the girls love each other so damn much and really bonded like a family (well maybe excepted for Mocha Diva) while Season 1 that was supposed to be more about talents / representing drag community for the first time is more of a cliche highschool than anything. I've heard that the top girls especially Natalia really dislike Amadiva for real and don't really care for Jaja who is a foreigner.
everything in this show from the lipsyncs to the exits are so raw and genuine, you can just feel the artificialness in rpdr. Here angele won but kana fought so hard and they both were showing the will to stay.

In the US version, a queen who landed in the bottom 4 times, especially when eliminated earlier in the season. Would have never gone through in any circumstance. At least in Thai version emotion and passion is put in front in stead of track record...

I have watched 9 seasons of Rupaul's drag race (part of season 10 but it's hard for me to find to watch it without having direct tv lol) and one season of Allstars, I've watched the first season of Thailand's drag race....and nothing...no lip sync has compared to this at all. None have been this memorable. The ones I do remember are for bad reasons like Mimi Imfirst and Nina Flowers with picking her up, or the one where what's her face gave up and stood in one spot or Valentina for refusing to take off the mask. But none have I remembered for being amazing and touching. But this one....I could watch it over and over again. They fought...but they fought together not against each other and it made for the BEST performance.

This lip sync was so fun and that’s what I think is missing in most of the lip syncs now we do see the queens kill it, but we rarely see them have fun with each other in the lip syncs, and the raw emotion that is from this lip sync I cry every-time I watch this, like UGHHHHH DRT is so good can’t wait for the third one

Because Kana is a lip sync assassin, she didn't want to rob Angele as Angele has had several good performances, while Kana has landed in the bottom many times. So the judges said that it's Kana's moment to redeem herself since she's just been back and this is a competition after all. Then they did the lip sync equally well and they did this in a friendly manner, like "let's do this together" rather than "this is a competition, let's fight for our own place." This touched the judges' hearts. Therefore, they both stayed.
I wish something like this happened in rpdr so that there were no robbed queens.

If you remember Art Arya's interview with James St. James at Wowpresents, Art said that in season 2, she wanted to cast more dramatic/bitchier girls to create more drama. It turns out that the girls love each other so damn much and really bonded like a family (well maybe excepted for Mocha Diva) while Season 1 that was supposed to be more about talents / representing drag community for the first time is more of a cliche highschool than anything. I've heard that the top girls especially Natalia really dislike Amadiva for real and don't really care for Jaja who is a foreigner.

everything in this show from the lipsyncs to the exits are so raw and genuine, you can just feel the artificialness in rpdr. Here angele won but kana fought so hard and they both were showing the will to stay.

I have watched 9 seasons of Rupaul's drag race (part of season 10 but it's hard for me to find to watch it without having direct tv lol) and one season of Allstars, I've watched the first season of Thailand's drag race....and nothing...no lip sync has compared to this at all. None have been this memorable. The ones I do remember are for bad reasons like Mimi Imfirst and Nina Flowers with picking her up, or the one where what's her face gave up and stood in one spot or Valentina for refusing to take off the mask. But none have I remembered for being amazing and touching. But this one....I could watch it over and over again. They fought...but they fought together not against each other and it made for the BEST performance.
THIS is how a lip sync is supposed to be! I've never cried during one until now. 💜

This lip sync was so fun and that’s what I think is missing in most of the lip syncs now we do see the queens kill it, but we rarely see them have fun with each other in the lip syncs, and the raw emotion that is from this lip sync I cry every-time I watch this, like UGHHHHH DRT is so good can’t wait for the third one
