Thanks for the video. And I appreciate your comments about the sounds! I agree regarding the whistle on 6024. I'm going to see if I can find a better sample for it...
Love this video I remember Fred and Geoff as I work on Clan Line Fred's now the Traction Inspector Geoff has retired but it's nice to see the King loco I might get it eventually not sure yet
Sorry i'm two month late replying i've done the Heritage route from Painton to Kingswear and Dartmouth as a kid my dad lived round there before i was born. I just love GWR locomotive's I went to a day out with Thomas at KWVR when i was 7 or 8 the event was just finishing and they brought a replica of Duck to Keighley station and me and my dad spoke to fireman and i stood on footplate. The're something special about GWR.
Thoroughly enjoyed this video and your memories! Interested to see the new Marsh Barton station as part of the route - is this an updated patch of the Riviera Line route, or a separate route?
Watching that slideshow reminds me: I wish I was a few years older than my 32 years, so I could have known No. 6024 as it was in the early '90s. Maybe I ought to recreate in 00 using Hornby's model...
Just wondering if you have tried out the Glorious Devon route with the latest version of train sim? I think this is Devon Rails and I assume you have made this scenario yourself. Great video and info btw.
Hi, im wondering were you got this route, modern kingswear to exeter? because itd be a dream of mine to use the dart steam railway, to recreate when king edward ii was at the railway. Thanks.
Yep, it's best to disable auto fireman in the menu for the game, that way you can press CTRL R on this particular loco (and other Caledonia Works addons) at any time to enable auto fireman. If you press F3 or F4 you get a hud which shows gradients, speed limits and signal placement.
Your commentary on this locomotive and experiences was very much appreciated.
cabbed KEI at minehead shed on west somerset last year, great experience!

Thanks for the comment Matt, it's a fantastic soundset so if the whistle could be improved that'd be epic, but by no means is it bad as it is!
It must be quite a tricky exercise, seeing as 'King Edward II' has been the only 'King' operating in recent years.
Just wonderful work all round, modelling, scripting and sound, this add-on is worth every penny.

Thanks for the comments. It's the Berks and Hants to Bristol and Penzance route: alanthomsonsim.com/downloads/berks-and-hants-to-bristol-and-penzance/
Not OTT on “completing TS” it’s a brilliant addition and lives up the the hype.

Not yet, but it's on a long list of stuff eventually, got a few timetables and stuff to make scenarios on it. Thanks.

How do u get the big numbers on the smokebox door plz
In the manual it tells you on page 16/17, GWR Reporting Numbers.
Is that support coach a reskin or just the standard AP C&C one?
If it is, where can I get it?
Its a reskin from here:

@@TrainSim_TV Oh, lovely thank you very much
Do steam trains have automatic firing? And signal and speed markers on a hud should one want

@@TrainSim_TV awesome thank you
Hey man, I was wondering if you know how to make your own custom Headboards for locos such as the King Class etc on Train Simulator, Thank you.
Sadly not, it's something I wish I knew how to make! Thankfully this pack does come with a lot :)
@@TrainSim_TV awh damn, that's a shame, and indeed it does! It's a great pack so well done to Caledonia Works for this
What route is this?
