If you have seen this series from the beginning, you know that *null* was sent to capture proboiz and bring him to sheng because proboiz is a great fighter, sheng wants him on his side so pro can fight for him. There are several theories that explain that oculus was made by sheng after proboiz rejected his invitation to his team so that he can capture proboiz and force him to work for sheng. ( idk if this theory is true or not but it kinda makes sense, well atleast for me)
