If they were disregarding the rights and freedoms of serbs living inside, then why should serbia respect the illegal independence of the republics. Allmost all republics left without the consent of the other. So why should Yugoslavia just respect that. You gotta understand that Yugoslavia wanted to preserve its territorial integrity. Still the war was hell and led to nothing. We are just puppets of the west. Only old people living there with the mafia being behind the scenes together with corrupt politicians only caring for their money and not the people.
