I used to stop there all the time when driving a semi. It was a truck stop at the time back in the 80's and you would always see native Indians around.
Good video. The clouds behind the arrows looked cool. I really liked tour intro with the shot of traveling down the highway changing from black and white to color. What editing software do you use?
Thanks! I use iMovie on my iPhone. It’s a pretty simple app for editing, but does a nice job. It’s very convenient. I can use it anywhere I have my phone obviously. There are some tricks you can do like the changing color once you figure out the main uses.
I was on a 2 paragraph rant on why you were cropping out the new "twin arrows" on the north side of 40 ... then you didn't. My apologies. Been looking at your vids since ks. Good stuff.
I stopped and got a burger and fries there in 1995 shortly before it closed (the people didn't say anything about that being planned) since it had space enough for semi truck parking. So sad what happened. Just east of there was another post called Toonerville. Around 1972 the owner was murdered in a robbery so that ended that.
Interesting things happen there
I was there n 2020 such a shame seeing the arrows and buildings in that condition. Fingers crossed he gets preserved.
I agree. I went through in 2020 as well and it seemed to be in better shape then, but couldn’t remember exactly. Sad.
I was just there a few days ago. One of the arrows had fallen down :-/

You could shoot a horror movie in that warehouse !! 😳
Absolutely! No additional budget required haha

@@TravelwithaWiseguy is your iPhone your camera or are you using something else?
It’s all video from my phone. I also use a drone, which the footage gets downloaded onto my phone through the drone app.

Nice vid, which drone do you use when you shoot drone footage?
Thank you! I have a Mavic Pro 2. I really enjoy using it - great drone!
Not anymore. I was there in January 2023. One of the arrows is now on the ground. Video on my channel.
Yeah I heard about that. Glad I was able to see it before it fell. Maybe someday it can be put back up.
Lost one arrow !!
