Enemy gas grenades are fine, it's your team mates that's the problem
Rayza1983 That makes literally no sense. Also, only having 1 gas nade per spawn would make it so much better.
Makes total sense I can't be doing with my team mates gas grenades making my vision messed up etc. The enemy gas is enemy gas you die one way or the other but when ya own team fucks ya up that's annoying
levelcap, I really love those team clips you have with Jack and the others, it's big entertainment value, and some great BF1 moments as well!
If I remember well, from what my history teacher used to tell me on WWI. Once the battlefield clouded over from rifle fire's characteristic blue haze, the light blue blended quite well. Though in WWII we were just delaying the change., newer types of smokeless powder in WWII removed most of the smoke from the battlefield. So our outfits stood out in contrast. There is also the fact that "blue dye is cheap, and we don't import it from Germany".
That is what I can recall from my classes.

8:40 I've driven that train a couple times while defending, and I swear that it doesn't let me roll it back from the first sector if it gets overrun. So we just sit there, stuck past the corner while the enemy chips away.

Levelcap logic: Complains about grenade spam; spams grenades in nearly every gameplay.
The French uniforms were much worse at the start of the war.
They consisted of bright blue tops and almost glowing red pants. Brilliant for walking straight across a machine gun covered field in a tight formation!

The idea behind the blue uniform was to blend in with the sky when the soldiers went over the top. It was dubbed "Horizon Blue."

What you said about that tripple nade was so accurate, it is exactly like cod mw2 with oma. You should not get 2 gas nades to start with and it should not last more 10 seconds also nade re supply time should be increased.
I like this map because it is different than the sniper-infested open areas in the original game
I started using the auto loading 8.35 factory lately and I have to say I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would have.
Blu_J I like marksman better
The marksman is good too, I just prefer using iron sights.
Something I think should make a return to bf is faction specific weapons. I think a huge element of the game was taken out when any soldier can run any weapon.

The French had blue uniforms because of that was the color of their uniforms during the Napoleonic era. They started the war with dark blue and finished it with a dull light blue- you know, instead of adopting the much better suited brown British ones...

"Why did the French think blue outfits would be smart?" - because the worlds first army camouflage unit Section de Camouflage tested the most difficult colour to aim at (at long range) in the winter of 1914 (using foreign legion soldiers) and found that colour to be bleu horizon strangely enough. Perhaps they tested against a blue horizon in the desert!

guns in the older game did not have hip fire worth shit. Esp not in BF2 in BF1942 it had a tiny bit.

@LevelCapGaming Blue outfits of french army= goverment said that, if they charge, they would be hard to see from the trenches against the blue sky. and this is leggit no joke :p the more you know!

French wore blue uniforms called Bleu Horizon : horizon Blue,they made them for their soldiers because they thought Germans would miss them because they would wear a suit with the same colour as sky

Hey what do you think about being able to equip the stationary machine gun as support? so you can have it, run around with it but you can only use it in deployed mode? I think this would add an interesting new dynamic to the gameplay and how one plays support.

some weapons do poorly when hipfired, and you get suppression effects from friendly gas, if you dont know this, your a noob scrub who should stay silent, just saying
moral of the story: dont be a muppet who runs into gas or forgets to use a gas mask (game feature) you sound like a cod wannabe, just saying
COD is garbage, has been for years. I PTFO, which is hard to do with many weapons due to the Gas scrubs. Since the vast majority think gas is cancer, your argument is poor. Come up with better, or dont waste my time.

One, I tend to play assault, so more often then not I own people in gas, just think it is bad mechanic that is overused. Second, "gas" grenades did not exist, that was made up for the game. They deployed gas very carefully in controlled situations where the wind would not blow it back and kill their own soldiers. Finally, I was hopeing you would give me good debate on the topic, I like to here other viewpoints. You seem unintested in doing this, so I will look elsewhere.

It's a decent game, but the lack of content makes for quick boredom. I think Battlefield 4 is much better however it's been out for 4 years and Battlefield 1 just came out. A matter of opinion, honestly.
