1. Olexa buys a x2.7 multiplier card. 2. Olexa sells the x2.7 multiplier card. 3. Olexa says that he needs an X multiplier card. Classic in three acts 🙃
Hey Tyler, I have a big question. I'm thinking of making a game, and I was wondering since you have a lot of experience in roguelikes if you could give some input on this idea I had? I was thinking of making a roguelike that was a 3-in-1 roguelike, so you had the option to choose whether you wanted to play the bullet hell mode, a deck building mode, or a turnbased mode. All in the same game. Do you think that people would like a game such as that. I thought it was cool because it fits a lot of the different people who play roguelikes and they can truly choose what they want/feel like playing
Get one part working; see how it sits before adding more. Balancing that sounds like a nightmare but it would be a heavy twist on the choose your way to play aspect of games
The tough part would be to get people to interact with more parts of the game and not just stick to their favourite genre. I like the idea, but without making it fun to play all modes and having an advantage in changing (over a disadvantage in sticking to the same) mode, players would likely gravitate towards just their favourite part and you'd lose the thing that sets such a game apart from individual good deckbuilder/bullet hell/turn based rougelikes. Not sure if you mean different modes like different playstyles alike in "different characters" or changing modes during a run, but on top of my head I see the most possibilities and ways to stand out to be unique in the later. *To clarify the (), if the game would "punish" for just sticking to a mode, you'd risk it being a tedious thing players will feel forced to do over a unique and fun gimmick. With my two cents thrown into the ring, I really want to see such a game and think it could be very interesting and I'll absolutely try it out if it ends up being made!
A way you could balance it would be that if you play modes in order, they increase in difficulty faster. so to use balatro as an example, difficulty could increase like normal for 3 rounds, then 4th round would be big blind size instead of small increase, 5th round would be next ante's big blind level increase, etc, and the difficulty increase resets scaling when you play a similar amount in the other two modes.
why did he try to scale trousers which is famously slow when he had one that was essentially get mult for half of total earned money and you can get 100s pretty easily EDIT: WHY IS HE NOW SELLING ALL HIS MONEY EARNING CARDS EDIT 2: WHY IS HE ALSO SELLING HIS X MULT CARD

Shuffling this deck must be such a hassle.
You'd need an OSHA certification
Cloud nine goes crazy here
HOLY SHIT 17:14 HE DREW THE LUCKY ACE WHAT
Maybe going for a Flush build WOULD'VE been the play....
"how do we nerf flushes so they aren't the best choice for the early game" "add 60 suits"
I wonder if the joker that gives $ for every 9 in deck is available? 60 per round would be sick
“Need a queen” is one of my favorite Pokémon
Immediately the SIZE of the deck has made me chuckle
What the fuck man
Holy hell there is a Homestuck suit. This is truly a doomed mod

I think it’s a great idea. I had a similar thought a while back

hey, why did you ignore over 50% of the vouchers?
Because they weren’t helpful for our run and I practically had no money for 90% of the run
waiting patiently for more lingo
Today
Agreed.
Olexa i ruined my productivity at work. Baltro is on mobile now.... you probably wont see this on a 5 month old video lol
Blud doesn't know that Full/Flush/Spectrum Houses contain Two Pair, and thus, can proc Spare Trousers. ☠
I did but if we used the spectrum house, we won immediately so it didn’t scale the pants as much.
@@OlexaYT Oh, mb, I thought it was another classic Olexa moment.
Olexa gets roasted even when he is right 💀
I can’t win out here. Take a run to ante 11 and get told I’m dumb
3:36 he explicitly acknowledges this the first chance its possible what are u talking abt
