You have become one of my absolute fave TH-cam for high end decor on a budget and inspo! Keep doing your thing Jorge and thanks for sharing your artistry and input!
I have slowly been decluttering decor and creating a more minimal look on shelves. It makes the house feel calmer and so much less cluttered. But I do love warm, pigmented paint colors. My great room hallways are painted a beautiful terra cotta. With the super high ceilings, it makes the room feel more cozy!
Yes! Decluttering is one of the most inexpensive ways to make a space look upscale. I know that it may be a little tough in households where there are children, but there are ways to keep it neat.
I took a risk in my small house and painted everything a bright white, but painted all the upstairs hall doors a cheerful light lemon color. It is magical. I get so many complements. I also created a floor to ceiling large grid gallery wall with white frames. From far away it looks like one large piece of art.
These are really gonna help. Hey! Can we have a next video on where can we find "restoration hardware" living room/bedroom decor dupes or how to decor inspired by RH or how one can do it in a budget since we all know how expensive those things can be. It's a request;)
Definitely going through the process of getting rid of tshotshkes! Doing millwork/molding done? I'm simple too when it comes to pure white and high reflective white.
Hello I hope you’re doing well today. Thanks for all of the tips on how to decorate our beautiful houses. I will like to know if you could do a video about a modern vintage kitchen? Thanks
Helpful and entertaining. Thanks for breaking the advice up with your little "outtakes", helps me with not losing interest and makes me laugh. A very good channel and "chaneller" indeed.

So happy that you included the rental design advice too! Thank you 🤗 it’s so helpful b/c sometimes it can seem the hardest to think of since it is a temporary limited space.
LOVELY! Just turned on NOTIFICATIONS. Love how you make your spot-on insights so friendly welcoming, relatable, unintimidating and accessible to alll of us ! YOUARE A GREAT GREAT TEACHER !!!
Hi Jorge! I love your channel. I’m currently decorating my living room space, but I have a large couch that does not look high end (and I can’t afford a new one at this time) so I was wondering what kind of fabrics can I pair together? My couch is very large, corduroy type fabric, grayish blue color. I want to add accent chairs and a rug, but I’m not sure what would go with that? I’m thinking of leather type fabric accent chairs but I’m not sure if that goes well together. What would you do???
Excellent ideas 👏👏👏😁. By the way you have gorgeous eyebrows 😍. I need to find the time to go back and watch all of your DIY projects videos. I recently made some art from a canvas and dry wall paste, it was super easy and fun to do 😊😊😊👏👏👏. It's now above my mini bar cabinet. We like all white walls and are definitely more on the minimalist side of things, I really like your design style 😍👍
My best advice for beginner is to choose a look and slowly replicate all the pieces. It’s not easy to mix and match if you don’t have a designer aesthetic.
Tamales! When I first started my journey into cultural foods I decided to try tamales. You know they come in a can?? Well I bought a can and ate the paper..yes the paper! Needless to say I didn’t finish the can. Then when I moved to south Texas and tried the real “enchilada” I just laughed at the experience with the canned tamales. It’s been over 40 years, but I still laugh at it. Loved the video. Yes please, more DIYs.
I have yet to watch the video (I will, just as soon as I type this), but since your DIY’s are AWESOME, I was hoping you could DIY the over priced Interconnect Candle Holder please? Thank you.
Jorge, I have a question for you. I love large sculptural pieces on a surface or pedestal. But is two too many in my 20'x20' living room? I put the other in my dining room, but because both could be seen at the same time, I look one out. Loved this video and love hearing you talk!
Thanks Jorge, I needed this refresher. A question ,my leather sofa cost me alot to buy a few years ago, so I still have it. But, the color doesn't fit the current colors I have now. I don't want to buy a new sofa, do you have an opinion about painting leather furniture? Should I try to diy myself, or have professionals do it for me? Thanks
Hello! Rather than painting it, sell it. If you don’t love it, you’ll get more from it than if you paint it. I’m not sure what color you have but any leather color can typically be considered as a neutral and can work with most styles. If it’s not a neutral then your other pieces you bring in can be neutral. I hope this helps ☺️
Please don't ever recommend people buy faux leather anything. There's really no such thing as quality faux leather (the way there is with faux fur and other products except maybe pinatex,) and it will be cheap looking and falling apart within a year. Two if it's "higher end" which is basically disposable. Online marketplaces and thrifts are full of it and it's all headed for the landfill because nobody wants it. If you want a leather piece of furniture, save for the real thing and buy something quality. It comes along at a very reasonable price often in used furniture places. People simply need to move away from the idea of creating an entire room over a weekend. Quality is collected, not thrown together.
Furniture sets do not look cheap 🤣 In some of the most expensive homes, you’ll see sets of furniture. How about people stop faking the funk trying to make everything “look expensive” and instead be authentic! A welcoming/cozy home will always top something that you have to fake!

I LOVE THAT you showcased DIY DALIA! Love her. I just found your channel today and you remind me of her
Decluttering and editing decor is key, it makes a home look curated rather than decorated.

Thank you
Thanks
I would say take a shot every time he says “elevate” but i don’t want anyone to pass out
Do you have any DIY art ideas that would look a bit more rustic?
My husband won't put his gaming stuff in our tv stand. I've tried. Oh well
Landlords…why not let tenants improve the property? Like why oppose wall molding? Better resale or rent!

Hello Jorge, I would appreciate it if you could put the subtitles in Spanish. Thanks
1st ❤️
Why do we still think a sofa is a must? In a formal living room I would select chairs instead
I have an adjustable bed in my living room.
Be careful that it doesn’t look like a doctor’s waiting room!

He is not authority on decorating anything. Do what you want.
