Something I’d like you to address Jorge is how styled photos of a space make the space look different than when you’re physically in a space. I purchased a dresser recently because the photos were beautiful and in the photo the dresser was eye level. In person it’s tiny (beautiful) but I never see it when I walk around because it’s not actually as big as the photo.
Living Big in a Tiny House, yes! Right here on TH-cam. People do amazing things with a small amount of money, and sometimes some of the homes were built by wealthier people. But lots of inspiration there, either way. Pinterest too, love it.
I love the idea of partially painting over a store bought art piece. I bought one on clarence and painted over all of it. It was worth the $40 clarence price for the frame that it came with and now I have a Calise (my last name) original!
*Wall-itis* . One of my biggest pet-peeve in interior design is furniture pushed against the wall. Gathering and conversational spaces should feel cozy and intimate. My home lacks a formal entryway. I created a designated zone with my furniture placement. I have a small living room and do enjoy layered lighting. I swapped the lampshades to the same style in different sizes for a cohesive look. I love your DIY art projects. I re-freshed a piece I bought in the 90's that wasn't working for me, but the scale was perfect. Hobby Lobby Clearance items are good candidates for a make-over. I feel a curated home always has a mix of old and new. Having a vision of high end pieces and styling does make your thrifting adventures more intentional.
I discovered your channel recently and binged watch all the episodes. You have amazing taste and great DIY ideas. I will be moving into a pre-construction condo and you inspired me to seek out unique, vintage pieces to add to give the space more characters. I have four Hermes scarves that I would love to frame but can't find the right size (3 ft x 3 ft) and custom is so expensive. Would love to DIY the frames but not sure how to start. I imagine the frame to be frameless (for modern feel) or minimal so it doesn't compete with the scarf. I also just bought a vintage refurbished fireplace mantle with white painted wood surround and copper tins in the interior. Do you have a suggestion of which color would look best against copper as the white surround does nothing to show it off. Your time and suggestions is greatly appreciated.

I’m in the same boat! My walls are currently very yellow 😖 I just want neutral white walls, I’m this close 👌🏽 to pulling the trigger especially since I’m not planning on moving out anytime soon
