I've got a Diamond Jubilee at my salvage yard, same color, no sunroof, factory CB, I've never looked to see if it's a 460 or 400. It's a Wisconsin car so it's not "clean" but it not shot. If you or anyone is interested hit me up. I'm in Northern Wisconsin fyi
Beautiful Mark V! Lincoln should bring back the Town Car and Mark Series Coupes. Take styling ques from the 70's - 80's era. Opera windows and suicide doors a must.
I have one of these cars what I did I put shut off valves for the heater core because these cars tend to mess up with the blend door it hot air in when your AC is on due to the heater core kicking in or some vacuum deal opening up the valves so I put some valves and shut the heater core out for the summer I recommend people do that with these cars and in the winter just open them and you have heater again.
Mark II, III, IV, V,VI,VII and Mark VIII were all two door cars. That’s how they were. Unique cars and nice and well built. Power was graded down from 365 horsepower 460V8 to 213 horsepower 460 V8 up to 1978. California emissions were allowing 400V8 with pathetic 159 horsepower on this huge titanic. Just ridiculous
Hmmm... No, sorry, it needs more gold. 😉 Seriously, I am tired of seeing the powder blue models, and this one is almost for me INCLUDING the moon-roof delete/head-room addition. I just wish it had the gold leather instead of whatever that stuff was. Oh, HEY, does it have diamond chips in the opera windows and an umbrella in the console?
