Thanks Josh for this. It's so helpful. And thanks for coming out as not having an art degree - it gives me so much motivation. There's so many useful tips in that video! keep up the good kitchcore work, it's everything!
Watching from tahiti and very admiring your work , at the begining I saw your vids on tik tok but I really appreciate to the totality on youtube there’s more details 🥰( ps : my favorite sandwich is tuna) (pps : your paintings are amazing !)
This is so wonderful! Ou have amazing talent. I am soooo upset that it's oil LOL, I was hoping it was acrylic because I have a ton of that. Beautiful work
Thanks for the details about Kneading the tubes the beater bucket the liquid clear any mediums and stating what you use for cleaning aka odorless mineral spirits etc I do have a question I just made what I think is a great beater bucket 5 gallon bucket lined with a plastic kitchen trash bag and a metal raised plant stand grid thing to beat against... here is the question... do I need anything else in the bucket to absorb the beaten thinner ? or just let it pool in the bottom? does it evaporate? do I need a lid on bucket when not using it? I think this is the video I am going to try with my Meeden paints ... wish me luck!
You can cover it. It will evaporate and leave the solidified paint in the bottom. You'll have to change the bag every so often. And covering it is a good tip
How can I make my aura like yours? Yours is so shiny and realistic with the way the white blends with the other colors. I've tried to do it many times just like you did, but I can't make it super shiny. Can you help me?
Would water mixable oil paints work with the style of painting you teach? I want to do some of your tutorials, but my space isn't well ventilated, so I thought maybe the water mixable oil paints would be less toxic. Thanks!
You're the most helpful painter on the entire internet 🥰
I appreciate that

Wet paint underneath and drag the white across it
And my favorite sandwich is tuna with onions, pickles, lettuce and tomato, since nobody else answered your question 😂

Yes. I know Bram uses water mixable and they're vidry similar
Thank you!
Would it be this smooth if I paint this with the acrylic paint?? It’s looking easy to blend and not gets dry easily like acrylic paint.
Acrylic doesn't work the same as oils do
❤
🥰🥰
This is probably a dumb question but is the canvas already black or did you paint it black?
Hey can I paint a white canvas black and wait for it to dry instead of buying a black canvas? 😢
Yes. You need Liquitex Acrylic Black Gesso. Dries in 10 mins and then add clear and start painting
Can you tell me what solution you dipped your brush in at 12:08 pls
Odorless Mineral Spirits
@@PaintWithJosh We need to dip to be able to pull the aurora like minute 15:18, right 😢
Jae .what size is that canvas .?
